First of all, I want to say that I'm a fan of Fujino's work, but he's become lazy. He's released several updates late, and the game seems to be going backward instead of forward. By this, I mean that he uploads very few scenes in the memory room, and the secondary characters are practically nonexistent. Honestly, I'm quite disappointed. I knew there wouldn't be an update today; I was expecting one by the weekend or next Monday, but it's going to be a long wait. I'm not saying I hate him, but it's clear he's not putting the same effort into it anymore. This isn't a bad review; it's simply an observation (and I say this as a paying customer).

I guess firstly, this is his hobby and not his occupation, so he's doing this because he enjoys building this game and sharing it with everyone.
The subscriptions / patreons that we are, are there because we love his work and would like to support his passion; it's not something we need to do in order to receive the game (since I think he knows that the game is actively being pirated within the hour), but it shouldn't be in our mindset that he has to deliver something to us every month with the same quality just because we paid. If that's the case, I think you can invest the money elsewhere because you can just wait an hour or two and you'll get the update here from a helpful hero.
Obviously him moving countries and restarting his life in order to continue his passion is overbearingly stressful for him, and I think these recent updates is him finally making progress to adapt to his country of work more happily. He's not lazy, he is just busy. I hope that with his new lifestyle the progression of his development becomes a lot more faster though.

The update dates need to be changed from the 1st to the 15th of each month, but I'm sure many will cry like babies in CI EN.

I noticed the report came out earlier than expected, I guess it's due to the job change which is 1 hour from home
LMAO, I think you meant the opposite XD His previous job WAS an hour of commute away from home (And this is not even calculating the times he would need to get back and forth from the station and waiting for the metro), now he doesn't have that, so he has quite a bit more time in his days.

Yeah, and i think i read it also. But when someone said it's not 1 hour from or to his home, doesn't it mean he saves on 2 hours per day like travelling on both ways?
Edit: it is funny, because in real life i had to drive a longer distance to my new job, but without going into almost any traffic jams. Before that, in my previous job i had to drive like 1 hour 30 minutes. Now i can drive only 30 minutes (one direction). So, i am saving up to 2 hours of my private lifetime... Daily.

Yeah this is just what happens with artists/devs. We don't live in a perfect world where they can simply focus on their craft. I've been critical of his past updates but I'm hopeful that ending Trap of Breath and working on a new project will get fujino back into the swing of things. Although if he does end up taking a multi-month hiatus it would be for the best imo
I know you're right that it's his hobby and he clearly enjoys what he does, but it's true that he's slowed down. I'm not saying this in a bad way, just an observation about the latest updates.
P.S. I didn't know he'd changed jobs and all that; that might be a factor. Anyway, I hope things are going well for him and we can see the update soon.

I think a lot of people would agree Fujino was working at an unsustainable rate, judging at how many people would want him to do releases every two months. As his life changes, his priorities might change too. It seems like his passion for making games is still there so that is good. It is reasonable for him to sometimes slow down or just take a break to recover. Especially we are nearing the end, no one wants Fujino to burn out or stubble at the finish line.

I really wished we had the Suguha NTR still in the game. Heck, would have loved it if hebishima / inoda took Cuckrito's mom too...

I havent seen SAO, bubt I'm pretty sure in part 2, everytime Suguha and Cuckito go to their house, They mention that their parents are travelling iirc.
