Probably in December is my guess. I can't gauge how soon it'll happen, cause I feel like I need to see the FOG event to see how their interactions continue, but I doubt the raw sex will take much longer. Though it depends on how you interpret "longer" in this case. Cause I'm assuming there's no way Fujino doesn't do raw sex by February or something. Since in-game time wise, there's only 13 days left, it's probably relatively soon-ish.

I mean once you reach the threshold to include AI CGs into your game, tendencys are that this will be a recurring thing going forward in fujinos projects.

This games doesn't use any 2D CGs in any shape or form. Only koikatsu scenes so I think it just clashes with the overall vibe of the game and looks out of place. Especially this late in development.

Unless he doesn't receive backlash for it I doubt he will ditch that though.

For this game, I doubt it will replace any of the CGs you see for the recollection room. As in like it won't be main CGs that you're going to go out of your way to check the recollection room. I'm assuming and giving the benefit of the doubt that they're mainly going to be used for extremely minor moments that Fujino wouldn't spend too much time to waste a koikatsu cg scene on.

Yeah, I can see how future games may or may not have it. I doubt it'll cause too much issues in this current project though. I don't know if AI CG games get funded by people, but if the trend leans in that direction for the next main project, then I'll probably stop subbing. It'll probably be fine before SAO ends though.

That would just mean more dialogue and less fucking like rabbits. But even then, would the upcoming FOG update be a battle update? If it's that then the entire update might be consumed by the battle update itself and also tell me nothing on how IRL is going to progress.

If Fujino leans further towards Inoda having some difficulties like they mentioned in an earlier progress report, then it might be later than December. But yeah, current update was weird about this stuff. If the next update doesn't cause some back tracking, then I could see December as the earliest raw sex update. But hard to tell what Fujino wants to focus on.

In terms of in-game days I'm going to assume 7/19 or 7/20, because she's already convinced and is just trying to get pills, so it should be soon I think.

That's as much of a dumb explanation as Inoda's powers working IRL would be (Especially as Yui would have no physical way of doing that, Kirito literally stopped hearing the sounds IRL, not only through the phone), but IIRC we actually have confirmation of the opposite, Yui herself said she missed out on them fucking becasue she was busy with something else XP

The option is possible, but too fantastic for this stage of the game. I'm still betting that the Administrator activated the antenna so that Kirito wouldn't go around the corner of the house and find out the truth ahead of time (one of the antennas was built right behind the house), It seems to me that Inoda has nothing to do with it at all. As usual, Inoda's luck was that Asuna made a sound at the wrong time and forced the Administrator to act, as she saw what was happening from inside Kirito's head.

If the "gigachad-mode" can be explained by the fact that the Administrator switches the personality in Kirito's head, then Inoda's ability to "refract and stop sound and light waves" in the real world is already impossible to explain.

Are you saying Kirito is the bearer of Quinella? It's possible, that's why only Kiro can enter dreams.

While Yui having been lying would be an interesting twist, I still think her being able to do all that would make less sense than it being Inoda's powers, it happening the same day as 'Gigachad Kirito' awakening would actually make perfect sense if both were a sign of Administrator finally descending into the real world or something, as she did hint she was 'leaving' the rec. room in the last night before the current update. However I suppose we will have to wait for the next update before knowing what happens XP

There likely won't be any more battle updates. The cave exploration version received a lot of negative feedback, and Fujino probably invested significant time and effort into creating those combat events. It wouldn't surprise me if he now considers combat updates more trouble than they're worth. I recall him replying to a comment at some point, essentially confirming that no further battle events are planned. If you'd like to see them, I'd recommend leaving your feedback on his Ci-en page.

Now that was a nice twist. That 2nd Kirito persona. Liked it and it's great that the game finally has more options going forward.

As for AI CG, it was done ok for me. Not for main scenes which Fujino is already doing great work but for small stuff like on the side.

I've talked about this several times before. Why can Kirito enter the "dream world"? Why does Kirito forget everything when he closes Inoda's blog? Why does Kirito see interference when he looks at the screen when Asuna is cheating on him? How does Queenella absorb "anxiety"? The logical explanation is that Queenella is located in Kirito's head (a chip or just a memory area in which Queenella was planted) and can, of course, control Kirito's memory and emotions. Maybe it has something to do with the plot of the SEED inside Kirito. This way you can even explain why Kirito is so dumb and blind. But Fujino never confirmed it, so it's just my idea.

And this explains quite well what Kirito sees behind his eyes and how Kirito's personality has changed. Perhaps the Queenella inside Kirito's head activated a new part of the brain, which betrayed Kirito's features as a gagachad-asshole.

You remember those antenna facilities that were being installed all over the city in the last few updates? They even set one up behind Kirito's apartment. And no matter how much the "Descending Project" is wrapped in religious imagery, at its core, it's still achieved through technology. The project is about enabling the goddess to interfere with reality, and it relies on SAO's tech. Yui was an SAO GM, so putting it all together, it doesn't seem strange to me that Yui can replicate game functions in the real world. Have you seen Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL? I'm guessing the effect would be something similar.

Okay im not gonna lie, this was the most boring update yet. Pure setup for... something I guess. Kirito becoming a bit of a chad was satisfying but in terms of actual sex scenes it was super lackluster. This is the kind of stuff that wouldn't bother me if the game was completed but is annoying as hell when I have to wait for content to come out
