Reflecting on this update, it seems like a heartfelt cry from a developer compelled by those meant to support him, abandoning his vision and shattering all his ideas on the table, forming a mess of untold stories and bitter loss.

It honestly could be either, really. Like, some people will say this is what Fujino really wanted to do, but it's clear he didn't, or at least not yet with how originally he envisioned it, for good or bad of what others want Fujino DID want to drag things out and slowly build them up. If he was right or wrong with that is up to everyone else's own opinions to decide, though I did myself think he dragged it out a bit too much, but because of the polls and the pressure he was constantly going back and forth with everything he did lately, which is probably why this one felt a bit jarring.

I personally have no issues with the main story's pacing finally going where most people wanted (As I never cared much for it) and Inoda finally starting to get Asuna, even if it felt a bit forced out of nowhere, I'm just worried the developments of other stories in the game end up completely discarded for it :O

I recommend Scars of Summers, there will be a sequel soon, but the game is very good,
but it's hard to find a good game with multiple routes, this is the best one out there, besides Fleeting Iris,
This game has several routes and several endings, so it will give you a better idea, there is another game which is Shadow of Desire, the game is very good and it is in 3D, but it has several contents and ideas that can give you ideas. Luna NTR

Let's maintain objectivity. Before this update, the story was meticulously crafted, progressing step by step, with each action eliciting somewhat understandable reactions. However, in this update, separate interactions are haphazardly thrown together without a clear conclusion. The quantity and impact of the scenes in this update are typically seen in endgame content.

I speculate that moving forward, he may hasten to complete the game, potentially cutting some material he originally intended, or, in the worst-case scenario, abandoning the game after the break.


Just to clarify, I have criticized the entire story from the beginning, and I also believe it would have been a better game if he followed the approach he took in previous titles. However, I respect his work, vision, and fully understand that repeating the same things over and over again can be tiresome and offers no room for personal development.
