I mean, if I remember correctly, Fujino didn't say he wouldn't make a Part 3; he just said he would finish Part 2 with version 1.0. or at least he will try. That doesn't mean the story will be finished at that point.
Well I do not know... Fujino used to talk about 1.0, but nothing prevents him from continuing to make the game, 1.1, 1.2, and so on. As long as there is interest in the game and as long as Fujino has ideas, why not continue. Maybe he has ideas until the very end, who knows. And do not dump the final version from the scenes, perhaps the final update will be made in the form of a separate game.

Well, I think we definitely shouldn't worry about it. In fact, we don't have any opportunities to change anything. If Fujino doesn't have time to do everything he wants in 7 updates and ends the game with a lame ending, then there's nothing we can do except scream in the comments. It depends on what Fujino wants in the end. If he wants money and popularity, then there will be version 1.05, and 1.1, and then 1.6. Asuna's ears and nostrils will suffer as long as there are subscribers and Fujino has the desire to do something. We just have to eat what they give us and build theories on the forum.
Well i can't argue with that money is always a strong motivator indeed, but that been said, reputation is important as well and if he does that a lame ending or stall the game, people will remember in any new project he start, heck there's people complaining about part1 ending and the soft reset on 2 to this very day and SAO is not a infinity source of ideas either, that's is the dull and boring part i was talking about we going get to a point where will be nothing left to be done then from a developer perspective why not try something new there's plenty of series he can use. Then in the future he can come back to SAO to do a different story.
Fujino is not the first and not the last indie developer who has overloaded the game with characters and plot lines. We can only hope that Fujino will stand up and do everything right. We can only fill up the forum with theories, suddenly Fujino is sitting here looking for something interesting.

Right. There is nothing stopping Fujino going from v0.95 to v0.96 and the later from v0.99 to v0.991. Version number is pretty arbitrary.
You're not wrong, maybe he's already flirting with this idea, he did split the game week in 2 this update 0.60 if the next instead 0.65 we got something like 0.62.5 because is only half week.
Checking my folder of older updates the earlier updates were like v0.32, v0.36, or v0.42. But yeah basically the version number doesn't really mean anything.

A short part of the story has you play as Klein; I think you get the option of 'go straight to Alice' or 'wait and do some chores'. If you wait, the other guy fucks her first. But I think it all ends up in the same 'Klein enjoys cuck' plot.
