Ah, well...that's 'good' to know then, sticking to the original version may not be an issue in that case, which I prefer because...really, if you remove all the 'SAO' from it, this game is kinda pointless XD
I can't say, you can rename the character in the Saikey back to Kirito/Asuna/Suguha or even call them Pigslut, loserKirito or ChadKirito.
So do you really miss that much when they look close enough to the original SAO character?

Is a question of personal preference :p Aside from some minor issues with the 'renaming' feature I have seen, there is also the fact all Japanese mannerisms that Fujino tries to incorporate to stay loyal to canon SAO (Despite himself being chinese) and the direct references to stuff on the series beingg removed, and for me those are the only thing making this game even remotely bearable to go through with any sort of interest instead of just asking for a save and watching the H-scenes at the end of each new update XP

Hi all! Probably a silly question due to the nature of the game and... well... most of the content, but there is a plan for an actual Happy Ending where Kirito and Asuna are able to sort out their problems and live their love after all that happened? I know, I know, it sound naive and I agree, but I'm curious. Thanks a lot!

Sorry, I'm usually more mature than this, but...LOL! LMAO, even XD!

...no, there is no such ending planned, sorry :p Even in the 'kinda-best' ending for Kirito, the one of the route where his dark side awakens and starts fucking the side-girls, losing Asuna to Inoda stays consistent as an unchangeable part :p

Yeah, I mean, I already did, but I hoped it could be included in such a game. I like it, but I'm a fan of happy endings, so I would have hoped to see it
While there is no ending like that, it is funny how Fujino could very easily made an ending like that. The very first decision in Part 1 is Kirito deciding to whether to let Inoda into his party. If you say no Asuna will bully you into accepting. Fujino could make the choice if you accept then Inoda never joins your party. The happy couple would have never known the bullet they dodged.

To be fair, Fujino probably wasn't even thinking of any positive things for Kirito at all back then and still in his full standard cliche NTR mode, so it's no wonder he didn't :3 However, honestly, the more we know of the characters in the Fujinoverse, the more I feel that even without Inoda, Kirito and Asuna would have never been able to have a "Happy ending" like in Canon, really XP Others would have tried and probably failed to destroy their relationship (Liz and Suguha most likely, hell, even Sinon to some extent), so while it probably wouldn't have been as definitive as Inoda constantly fucking Asuna, being betrayed and losing friendhips all over would have still made them way too miserable to have a nice happy ending :p

I absolutely agree. In the original anime, nothing, absolutely nothing, would have made any of the girls Kirito meets feel anything for Inoda. This character is a deliberate failure, with nothing to do with honor. He was written deliberately and solely to feed us NTR.
So in this game, specifically and precisely for this reason, it had to be presented in such a way that the characters are far from the original. This is called "out of character."
If it weren't for the changes in the "memories" of the heroes and heroines, none of this would have had the right to happen.
Even Quinella's character (the administrator) is so absurd that I wish it were even more absurd and reached the level of a permanent relationship between KiriChad and Quinella.
I'm bored with the story of Asuna in this game and Inoda in this game. Their story doesn't bring anything new, just more and more different sex scenes. Unfortunately, the side characters and their relationships should have had a greater impact on the overall story. And I believe this is the main reason why players familiar with the original world sometimes feel dissatisfied when they see that updates don't bring anything sufficiently new, and forgivably minimally so.
Since nothing new can happen in Asuna and Kirito's story—interrupted by the idiotic Inoda's chain of events—I think closing this project would be entirely forgivable for the author.
Heck, we even know what all the endings will be. As long as we don't see the endings, I think there's still a tiny chance for something fantastic. And if that doesn't happen, so be it.

I totally agree! I started following this game recently, more for Asuna than anything else. I'm a total romantic, but for some strange reason I find NTR incredibly exciting, but I like the happy ending at the end of the story. This game is OBVIOUSLY designed for a purpose, okay, fine, I recognize that and I'm fine with that, but it's a huge shame the story isn't more interesting. I think there's potential for something really beautiful, the animations are very well done, and as a SAO fan, I'm happy to have a game that features some of my favorite characters (I have a soft spot for Asuna). I find Inoda revolting, and while a tragic and morbid part of me enjoys seeing Asuna enjoy herself, I'm terribly disappointed by Kirito and his passive and, frankly, idiotic nature. But anyway, I personally hope for a happy ending, but that's okay. This isn't a game for total romantics.

you should be disappointed in Fujino because Kirito is so passive. Kirito's passive behavior bothers me too, but for NTR to work, Kirito has to play the role of a lobotomized idiot xD

Ah... I don't really agree with the part of the "lobotomized idiot". It's common, but honestly I prefere when there is deception, subterfuge or cohercion, makes it more belivable. The idiot is just the easiest path I suppose. Well, of course at first the main character can be naive and trusting, after all he is dealing with his soulmate, girlfriend or whatever, but it0s far better if he can get suspicious. That's works too!

I'm your youngest daughter, I don't believe it View attachment 5537356 , but that's it, I still don't believe it View attachment 5537359 , but that's it, and now I believe it. View attachment 5537394
Strea is the best for a reason XD Small correction, though, she never really considered herself as Kirito's "daughter" (As the first CG shows), even if Yui is technically her big sister and she acknowledges that she most definitely doesn't see Kirito and Asuna as her parents at all. In fact she only called herself such jokingly once for the lols, but she wants to get in Kirito's bed...and drag every other girl to it too while they're at it XP
