Unity - Completed - Syahata's Bad Day [v1.0.1] [JaShinn]

This game is fantastic with its art style, scenes (especially the GO ones), character, and other fine details.

However, my main gripe is the sudden completion of the game, from .88 to 1. While big jumps have happened before it still feels like this game is missing content. And improvements.

Scenes, interactions, possible balances, enemies, etc.

I fully enjoy this game in its completed form, but I was looking, hoping for more. I guess I'll have to do that with his next completed game.

This game is very to the point with great art, animations, and control. The scene variety is pretty good too.

Once you understand the stamina management, it becomes a lot easier to avoid getting knocked down.

Very nice animations for both the fight-to-fuck and game over animations. Highly recommended and hope people buy the game if they can to show support to the maker as they're planning to make a new game too

Definitely fun with good scenes and simple gameplay. Might be a little repetitive and drawn out at times, but still very fun. I'm glad it actually got finished instead of being abandoned halfway through. Good game!

Good grapichs and nice gameplay. This is what a good game should be like . If you like parasite in city and Anthophobia this is a must play for you. Hoping to see more games like this one . 100% recommended , the only problem is that you can't play with one hand jajajaja

My overall rating of this game is 5 stars, it's a very simplistic game and at the same time it's a very easy game to complete, 2 hours is probably the completion time for the game (depending on how good you are at platformers), not that long like the rest of the games. I recommend this to people who like platformers with a female protagonist and has monster "Sex" to it.

A really good game, Probably my favorite pixel side scroller in terms of art and story. I loved the enemies, the environment, the combat, and all the interesting scenes that happened throughout the game. The game wasn't too hard but also not really easy. I really liked the combat in how the enemies have critical point that do more damage so you don't run out of ammo if you aim your shots. Definitely a must play if you enjoy games of this genre. Creator did an amazing job

I've kept my eye on this game for a while but held off on a rating until it released, and after playing this I can confidently say its a solid H-game. While I would've liked the gameplay to be more spiced up (eg a backwards-dodge unless its emulating for classic RE style gameplay), or aiming with mouse instead of arrow keys, I think the strengths outweigh the small nitpicks I have about the gameplay.

==Gameplay==

The gameplay is fairly simple and not quite interesting as you just walk and shoot your gun, course there are some weakspots you might need to look out for for enemies like heads or a bright red flower(?), but the game is short enough that it doesn't begin to sour. The aresnal is fairly small too, w/ a pistol, an assault rifle, and a broom stick so you don't have alot to work with either. Overall it isn't anything special, i've played games with worse gameplay similar to this (that plant-zombie game, anthrophobia? i cant remember, but I vastly prefer Bad Day over that) and I would just give this a 0 star and have this be a 5 star review, but that pales in comparison to the fact there isn't a shotgun in a zombie game is heresy but I'll let it pass by taking away 1 star for that reason alone.

The visuals of this game are quite impressive personally, and while I don't find anything quite unique the monsters and quality of the animations and models is something I really appreciate. There is some AI cg for the menu avatar for Syahata, but its not as offputting as other AI art since there isn't anything uncanny at first glance (hands, face, body, etc.) so I'm asssuming that the artist might've touched up on it and ironed out the kinks unless AI really has come a long way (haven't paid attention to Syahata's menu model before so IDK). Still, if AI's a turnoff for you like it is to me (Not as much here since they fixed the uncanniness), its the only instance I noticed so you probably won't find much AI.

Combined with the great pixel art and animations, this is some of the best h-content I've seen recently combined with some great looking game-over cgs. The only disappointing aspect to the h-scene is the lack of impreg-scenarios w/ only flies and spiders being able to impregnate Syahata (w/ eggs). While I personally don't care about who or what fucks the girl usually, I should also mention that this game has a fair bit of beastiality and insect-fucking so, beware if thats a turn off.

==Suggestions and Improvements==
Off the top of my head, I do think that introducing something like alucard's/RE3 classic's (iirc) dodge would've been great for this game and maybe a bit more interactivity with the environment would've been nice too (like puzzles or npcs).
However, My first and foremost suggestion is generally just more content (and a shotgun), which is a good problem for devs. This game has some solid scenes so I would've liked to have seen something like a new area w/ new enemies and a new boss for this game. Still, game dev is wrapping this up to work on something else so I hope he improves his animation and artwork even more in his next game.

==Conclusion/TLDR==
This is a short, simple game with some great scenes and a good pixel-art aesthetic, so I recommend this if you're looking for a bit of spice with some gameplay.

This deserves a full 5 star.

Played this last year and was really impressed by the quality of animations. The enemies do not overstay their welcome too imo. Usually with games like these the developer spams a bunch of them and call it content. But the balancer between gameplay and eroge is proper.

Pretty decent ACT H game here. Animated sprite sex, decent amount of HCG, lots of fetishes, statistics with a dash of minor mechanics such as hypnosis and pregnancy. Gameplay loop is straightforward and doesn't overstay it's welcome on any of the stages. H content can be accessed fairly easily in-game just by running up to the enemies with little consequence, though you should make sure to be ready to progress to find new H scenes in time for your boner. There's also game over animated HCG though it's heavily AI assisted.

The only downsides here would be the AI generated CG content and short length of the H game. A good game to pick up and fap to, gallery unlocks after you beat the game.

To cut it short, it's a great game with great animations, but don't expect it to be a masterpiece in any of the departments outside of the animations. "Spoilers" ahead from here.

Okay, with that out of the way, idk why but to me it felt like an abrupt ending? Not satisfying either.
It's a great game with amazing animations and totally worth the play, but it felt kinda like a bunch of cool ideas and maps got thrown in, interesting and cool enemy types at times too but nothing really came of it.

I guess the way to break it down for me is, everything after the school felt kinda rushed? Like one second you're in the sewers, next in the "fleshy" sewers... like a big "and then" without adding much further for every map.

Ending, stop reading incase you worry about spoilers for a porn game that has no story really, is just getting rescued by girls with guns and then chased by the last boss you defeated while driving a tank and then orbital strike and then "END". Like, what?
Am I somehow having higher expectations than I should have? Or am I rightfully confused and kinda dissapointed? I still consider this a 4/5 but man do I feel like something was missing.


Also whose idea was it to have the final segment of the game be a kinda lame 2000-2010s era of games ass turret segment? Totally out of left field in this game and generally so unnecessary. It could've not existed and nothing would be different as that doesn't offer any H-content or anything of the sort, just a "final" stretch for no reason. Cool ig but it had minimal involvement and little to no gameplay. Use turret on tiny flying things then use big canon when big monster attacks to stall it, how deep.

My favourite H game by far. The animations are amazing with a decent amount of variation imo. A good variety of enemies provide animations for a range of niches. I loved the character's progression throughout the game which was really the icing on the cake that put it into the top tier for me.

Gameplay is quite simple and easy most of the time, however I found it sufficiently engaging. The bosses are slightly more challenging.

My only complaint would be the game can be quite short, taking about 30 mins if you're not letting yourself get captured all the time

The gameplay is just a standard sidescrolling shooter. Lose and get raped style of game. But the animations. They are top tier. Every scene, every enemy all bangers.
I have nothing else to say yet I'm still talking for some reason.

Great game so far, added to the best side scrollers on this site. Post 'dead' scenes have amazing quality, really hope this one goes on.
The best thing is the anal, finally a side scroller game that put anal in the sex scenes!!!

This game is in my top 3 of all hentai games I've ever played.

The controls are decent once you get used to them.

Both the ingame pixel art and the defeat animations are great, which get further complimented by the sound design.

You have a decent variety of enemies, including zombies, insects, tentacles, monsters and general animals, some of which some people might not enjoy, but are great for anyone who doesn't mind them.

So far (0.79c) there is only 1 boss, however it does have more animations and provides a moderately challenging fight if you don't expect it.

My only real complaint is the fact that there is no fast travel system and you're only given 3 save slots, which makes it really hard to revisit zones, which I prefer over just using the gallery.

Other than that the game is amazing and I can't wait for future updates.

i'd love to see an option to dodge, you could evenmake it an pickupor tie it to the gun for moveset since you get it before the first bossfight. either lower stamina consumption or faster recovery in it'scurrent state it's tedius to beat up the game without intending to lose.
i'd also love to see thorn clothes the more she gets hit.

I love this game a lot, it's what a lot of nsfw devs should aspire to make.

- Solid atmosphere, very interesting expansive backgrounds telling bits and pieces of what's happened to the world during this whole apocalypse thing.
- Tons of nsfw content with animations of the best quality
- Male, female (only one of these for now), tentacle and beast enemies meaning there's almost something for everybody.
- Animated game overs made in live2D, no CG bullshit here.
- Gameplay is inspired from the classic survival horrors like resident evil, meaning you have to plant yourself in one place to shoot or attack. I know this probably won't be for everybody but it does help to make situations more tense.

It's still not finished but there's so much content in it already that you can tell the dev greatly enjoys expanding this. I believe even as-is this is a must-play for most, and it's only certain to get better from here.

Review of Version 0.79c

In this game you are a schoolgirl. Shooting and beating your way through the sex-crazy zombie horde that were your classmates. A game with excellent scenes in a shitty game.

Cons:
-Slow ass gameplay. You walk slowly through the school, stopping to shot or to hit with your stick. Waiting for enemies to come closer since your melee attack with the stick is a immobile stance. Waiting to regain your stamina. Running through emtpy halls from A to point B. The gameplay can put you to sleep.
-Boring enviroment. Except for some white stuff on the background you get to see the same empty halls over and over again. Every new section looks empty and lifeless and in this scenario there is supposed to be an apocalypse of some sort? You neither see it nor feel it.
-Bad gameplay design. You need to stand still for your melee attack, the hitboxes of enemies and your melee attack are everything but good. There is no dedicated dodge button or I did just not find it. This makes the "Boss" fight I encountered the dumbest thing I every played. Running back and forth, getting hit, run, shoot, boss comes closer, getting hit, run shoot , run reload rince and repeat while ALWAYS the stomach bulges and you fall down on the floor, giving the boss for no god damn reason a free grapple. And this stomach thing happens around every minute or so. I dont even know why this is happening??? It also slows down the gameplay again since you need to make your get up struggle even if there is no enemy around. And normal enemy fights are that you just stand still and hit 5-6 times the same enemy over and over again. He comes close, hit, wait, enemy comes closer, hit, wait oh no stamina run away from the enemy WAIT to refill stamina, go back, wait, enemy comes closer hit........


Pros:
+Good Pixel Art in the sex scenes. The pixel art looks kinda low on pixels but the artist did a good job of movement, sex and positions.

Since this is a 0.79 version I dont think the gameplay will improve. I dont get all these 4-5 stars.
