if you mean ToN's Idaho Johnson, the theater scene in SoTS, and the incest version of ToN, then yes, that's Janet. And regarding ToN's MC, I guess you haven't played TGO.

Also, these theater scenes are just random sex scenes involving past characters. They have nothing to do with the ongoing story.

does this game has an auto updater like TGO? the one you can open whenever any update is released and just auto downloaded the new files

The writing has really gone WWAAAAYYYYY down hill, could not get past day 3 without a lot of tylonal.
the writing started to go downhill around the last third of the second game. But at least I finished it, unlike the third game where I gave up after about half.
This is the fourth game and as I can see from the description it takes place in the same world as the first three, right?
Is this game worth downloading at least for the sex scenes? Or should I not get my hopes up?

Yes it does. You just have to subscribe to the NLT Patreon to get it.

If I want to read a lot of text I buy a book... so what?

Sandbox/Open World is actually a lot of fun with the NLT games. Many AVNs bore me out because all I can do is sit around and click next. In NLT games it's fun to explore places, enjoy the details (and sometimes the scene, I remember how cozy it was when it rained during a thunderstorm at night and I was walking around the city).

Sometimes it gets annoying when something is hard to find despite the ingame hints, but checking this thread or walkthroughs on youtube help out immediately. And NLT games have a fantastic gameplay-to-sex-scene-ratio. Not like other games where the open world really becomes annoying because you're making slow progress while not seeing much lewd stuff.
Yeah I mean I get some people like it and maybe my opinion isn't shared by the majority but I don't like Books either tbh, I like these because they're like picture books which as an ADHD/Autistic person I can enjoy but the unnecessary clicking and exploring bugs the shit out of me, it feels like an excuse to waste my time because I do very much prefer just to Tap the screen & see the next slide/image, I am here for the story sort of like a book but because of my ADHD & autistic I literally forget page 1 & 2 once I read page 3, I can't maintain information like the books description of characters or certain details, that's why I like these AVN games because I am more visual but I don't want to play an actual video game man... I'm on mobile so most of the time I play laying down in bed with my cock in the other hand because that's what's most comfortable but it's inconvenient to play sandbox exploration games because it feels like extra hoops to just through just because...

If I have a choice between 1 tap and i get the next scene/dialogue
Or
Tap 20x to explore & find it item or physically move to a new location to continue the story I pick the VN style over sandbox any day because Sanborn feels like artificial obstacles and time wasters, it feels the same way to me that a Live service games has all these little micro inconveniences that are designed to keep you in the game longer or something and not for a good reason.

TLDR:
in short I want the content to be spoon fed to me for my own convenience and enjoyment instead I of the usual Sanborn artificial time wasting exploration systems, these are small story rich games that really don't need artificial bullshit you make me tap the screen more frequently to get the the get the same story progresses slower then if it wasn't a sandbox game

same, TGO was boring and the scenes were way too frequent, TON was and is still the best game they've made, i was engaged in it and clocked almost 200 hours in it.

one of the many things that made ToN great was the gameplay and the puzzles. That's how you feel like you're walking in the shoes of the MC. In fact, I would say NLT should do more of that and reduce sexual frequency to make the sexual encounters more meaningful and exciting. Otherwise one might as well just watch a movie or porn, jack off and be done with it. I get your preference though.

I agree with you on this, if you check the reviews I write you'll see this is one of the things I criticize most frequently - that NSFW games try to keep the player in some sort of gameplay-loop as if they were Blizzard and made any profit from people spending more time in their games, while forgetting it's about the porn.

But with NLT games I could tolerate it. While it can get a bit tedious sometime, they never overdid it so that I didn't want continue playing. That's because of the good gameplay-to-sex ratio I mentioned earlier. There's always something new around the next corner, multiple story-arcs to chase simulatenously. Collecting often happens on the side, with rare stages in the game where it's a bit more (which is when it becomes a bit tedious). But the rewards are fantastic and it feels like they're worth the effort, unlike with many other games that demand more while delivering less.

Making money from the collected items also serves a real purpose because from the money you could upgrade your home and buy many items. In other games you get to do stuff "just because", like finding pieces of wood, then screws, then a screwdriver, in order to fix a kitchen sink. And absolutely nothing happens along the way.

The combat system in this game is so frustrating.. please ad a " skip combat for ever" option... it's not a good system and it's really annoying. at first it's ok but then when you fight the dogs in the desert with no options to skip it is just time consuming and a way to delay progress. Not a fan of mini games.

i don't want a porn movie or show for sure, I don't mind decent pacing if it's done well and the sex scenes don't feel unnecessarily dragged out or too far apart but yeah I don't want a sex scene every 5 minutes... Either way the game Is likely awesome for those who enjoy those aspects like sandbox and exploration, for me it's one of those things I just can't tolerate, the shit bugs the crap out of me like a fly that won't leave you alone on a hot summer day.

So sadly the sandbox stuff kills almost any game for me, the only sandbox game I was ever and am ever able to enjoy is Desert Stalker because the sandbox elements in that game isn't actually exploration, it's just your house that has like 6-7 rooms total and a World Map but in that world map or house there is no exploration or puzzles, you just select a location with a Quest Marker on it and it plays like a regular VN, the the 6-7 rooms and world map primarily serve as a way to reply certain repeatable scenes, they feel more like a video game loading screen than any sandbox exploration

Yeah all that sandbox stuff you mentioned bugs me, it's like when the game is forcing you to do useless stuff just because.

If you ever played Desert Stalker it's the only Sandbox game I have and will likely ever enjoy because even though it has the Sandbox tag it's only there for some repeatable scenes at home, you don't actually walk around or explore, you don't find objects, you just select a location on the world map or a room at home with a quest marker then it plays like a regular VN, basically every update just adds a few story quests/storylines that you can do in any order because the 2 or 4 new activities happen around the same time.

The other reason I hate RPGM isn't just the sandbox but the fact that it plays like Ass on mobile. Regardless if I play an APK or PC version on mobile through JoiPlay (emulator type app) it plays like ass, any time I need to type I need to double tap each letter, the touch sensitivity is all over the place and the android keyboard likes to pop up randomly sometimes... It's just not optimised for anything but PC so that's why I prefer Renpy VN style games but yeah if I am here for the story I don't see why I need to earn money or find an item to progress the story, just say the MC earned the money or something... Like you'd save development time and the players time by just making the next render and moving on instead of creating elaborate time wasting open world systems
