I don't know if they switched up the code or if my drivers are fucked now for no reason, but the game runs very slowly without disabling enhanced effects in the options, and scenes make the game go dark even though I can hear it playing just fine if I click around.
That's ISN'T what's happening. NLT literally told us they changed up their story-delivery method for this game, and are giving us pure main story progress on first release of each month, and pure side content on second release of each month. It *might* feel like we are getting more main story progression in a single release than we used to because it is covering what used to be spread over 2 releases, but overall it's definitely not progressing any faster.
To wit, we are nearly 1/5 of the way in, and we have only discovered 4 out of 50 kamasutra pages. That's not even 10% of them. I know story progress and kamasutra pages progress are not always in sync, but this to me feels even slower than the older games.
And let's not forget that until the last couple of months, we were on 1% progress with each release, whereas we used to start a game with 2% or sometimes even 3% progress on each release. Usually, this far since the initial release, we'd be around 30% through the game already.
And for what it's worth, I'm not a fan of this new method. But to each their own.

They are hidden in the gamesfolder.
Downlod the zip-file, extract it and copy & paste the files into the SotS-Gamefolder on your Android-Device.
Overwrite the other files.
For the next Update:
Just download any savegame and add ".SotS" to the beginning of the file name.
Rename them from "global.rmmzsave" into".SotSglobal.rmmzsave"
PS:Today is your lucky day. I'll upload a lighter version of the HD-Mod for tablets in a few hours.

It cost around $100 upfront to upload your game on steam. After 50-100 sales you get that back. Steam then takes a 30% cut on all sale plus a transaction fee which is around 5%
A quick Google of sale records will show you how much he's made from steam alone.

Basing a games progression on a trailer vs the completion % is wildly weird and makes zero sense
Picked this up a month ago, so I just got through my first cycle of updates. I assume the pattern is start of the month = story update, middle of month = side content?
I was annoyed at first, but honestly the story content, especially this early in the game, and the side content are each higher quality than the prior games, so I can't complain too much. Sadly, the same issue as always happened: I put off playing the game, but then I also jumped in too soon. Probably going to table this for a few months to get a decent chunk of content updated before I grab it again.
I'm just glad this game (and genesis order) got us some fucking relatively early along with the girls that are clearly going to be on a much slower burn as opposed to the first couple games where everything was a slow burn

You have zero clue on how NLT game release version numbers work, do you?
The first 2 digits of the release number is literally the completion percentage.
Even if NLT jumps to 3% with each release (extremely unlikely), 8 months x 2 releases per month x 3% each = another 48%. Add the 19% we are already at, we arrive at 67%. Granted, the main story usually ends a bit before 100%, but never that early. Typically it's at the 80-90% range.
If we go with the more realistic scenario of averaging 2% with each release going forward, and adjust for an early main story ending at, let's say, around 80% like the last game TGO, it would take another 15 months (15 months x 2 releases per month x 2% each = 60% + existing 19% = 79%) to get there.
Oh yeah, that's been the pattern since Lust Epidemic, I just mean in years past every update would have a little story, a little side content. Now it looks like they've been split
