Hi, there, still continuing with the game, but it failed to load shock4.ogg from the audio file for some reason, but I didn't get a chance to screenshot at that point, but once I re-started from autosave and skipped when I was chatting with Nia and Leila also can't do the fire puzzle for some reason too.

hey guys i need help im stuck here unable to get the wires mentioned in the walkthrough the guard keeps blocking me this is after i made him slip off a banana peel am i doing something wrong or is it a bug?

Okay guys, I fixed the wire-bug problem. The problem when you edit your save is that the game doesn't register u took the item, so your oracle will be stuck and you will not get any future hints.

I downloaded this mod:

activate the overlay ingame (CTLR + C)

Then activate "no clip" (makes you walk through everything), walk your character around the guard, place yourself on the door with the green arrows, deactivate noclip -> now hit enter and go through the door, pick up the wires.

Now you got the wires and your game is fixed without any follow up bugs from that particular quest.

Someone claimed though, that they would be in Lab Room A now. They posted a screenshot, it was somewhere on the right side in a wall or corner (not visible). But for me there were no wires, maybe they played a hotfix version that wasn't uploaded here, so if you can't find it in Lab Room A, try my solution.

Is there a full version 29051 update for this yet? These update only patches keep crashing my copy and i dont use any mods after i got the money one earier. The files just never seem to install to the correct folders from the zip copy. Havent played v27043 as it just didn't install correctly. had to go back to a clean full install of v26041.

Still stuck on getting the bloody wires too!!!

Youll need fresh save files as well. Any mod will have infected your save files which then causes issues.

I DON'T USE MODS.
I only use that one with the side table in the house early on ONCE to get lots of cash. Never used it since. All other updates worked until the latest batch from march/april where the updates were non consistant file format ie they were not seperated into www js or movie files etc in the zip. Full file install of v26011 works, but i cannot install the patch file to get the wires! It just breaks my install

Just do my hotfix posted above, it's much quicker than arguing here

Never found to be short of cash. I dig up treasures whenever I have seen them and this has proved more than enough so far. Based on previous games, the need for lots of cash only really happens when you get access to home updates.

He clearly said he began the game with a cash cheat, he is missing the wires.

But since the next update is already out, he just needs to install the newest version and then the wires should pop up in Lab Room A.
