One thing that might happen here is that we fall in line with the hardcore or casual release tempo. I can’t imagine that there are many master supporters and even fewer who are prepared to leak the game that they pay so much more.

But if we fall 2 or 3 releases behind the schedule there will be many more supporters, so more likely to get a leak.

Maybe we will have to wait until 15th March for .21022 to be leaked by a casual supporter and then this thread will continue with a release every two weeks but following the casual access plan.
Yes, I think you're - more or less - right.
If we are waiting with a "casual formula", it'll be 15th May, not 15th March..
;)

So if someone stole a ton of your videos, would you not do the same?
Again, you're not understanding the argument... I had a word with one of their team members and I know that they are many here who visit this forum claim to fake ignorance (wink wink..) I only released links once they were already out in the open, I never shared them first, so if you want to cut the source down you don't go guns blazing on each door you find, you gotta have a method which their moderation team lacked.

NLT has more than 11k paid members and he also do promotion for other games i don't think he will doing it for free. Still he was caring about piracy so hard instead of that he can focus on his work and release big updates per two weeks and become more successful. Piracy is thing that cant be stopped now big media houses and studios already tried that but they failed. So putting so much effort in it doesn't matter and people who pirate the game never ever will become your paid member just because they cant afford that not because they don't want pay.

I'm a former dev and even I think 25$/month is way too much. If they had a Tier-System like Kickstarter: You paid 40-50$, you unlock the game and can download it for free from then on.

Maybe you haven't seen the interview. The main reason is that the producers feel that the money you pay can directly play the first three works, which makes the first three works lose their value, so they need to increase the overall price to ensure that the first three works are valuable. If you like any of the previous completed works, go to Steam to buy it.

I'm not sure what you're talking about... their team threatened copyright strikes to me & I'm guessing to other youtubers & websites, that's not asking
this is a good reason to let the 21022 update free, it is yours right ??
you paid 400% more for it than a game is worth, either you are just another sucker or ...........

I already bought them all. I'll buy SotS too after release. But can you download the older ones or play them only online? I think it's overall a bad deal since you can get the games cheap on Steam and GOG. This don't mean that I'm supporting piracy.

Yes he literally pirating money from supporters pocket for the ten minute content every two weeks and stupid whales still supporting that. Also you are right about tier system like kickstarter but he do that after game finished he sold the finished copy on the steam way cheaper than than it production phase cost. He found a clever way to fool people and turn them as ATM machine.

$25 per month for a game that's gonna take 18 to 24 months to complete.

when in reality it only takes 5 to 6 months to complete (max)

even at 6 months who the fuck wants to pay $150.00 for a bottom tier game let alone paying for 2 years.

sounds like a Metallica marketing tactic to me !!

Buying from the steam is not problematic but what he is doing he taking the production cost from his patreon supporters and not a single gaming studio do this practice they produce's the game first then start selling it but what NLT is doing he releasing the chunks of the game selling it on high price then after completion selling it on steam. He is taking money from us to produce the game that means he made us inverters and earning money from our produce cost and taking the whole money. In that case supporters are the big clowns. Few months ago i saw Treasure Of Nadia getting sold on his patreon only on 2$ full game. If you calculate the money he earned in the time span of production then multiply 22*24 = 528$ Just from one supporter now multiply it with 10k supporters. 528*10000 = 5280000$ he earned that much money in the time span of the treasure of nadia and now he is selling it in two dollars.

If they are so focused on fighting the piracy, that's a bad sign, I'm afraid. One moron named Project Helius has already added Denuvo to their porn game. I hope NLT won't be that dumb...

I dont think NLT will add Denuvo to his game because his website is very good design that doesnt let you download the latest version for free so he wouldn't spend money on Denuvo and also NLT is a money hungry developer so he think thrice before adding Denuvo because you have to pay the fees to the team Denuvo to continue protecting your game also thats not the full proof as well Epmress can crack the Dunevo.

NLT isn't the first to implement anti-piracy measures into their game, there are plenty of games with those around (hence why you often see "cracked"/"uncracked" version downloads)

Indeed, this is a helpless thing. I don’t know whether a professional pornographic game company can be established in the future and have enough advertising sponsorship.

Empress has been doing whatever he wants for a long time, but not hacking games... now he doesn’t even pay attention to AAA games.
I agree with you that it will be very unprofitable for NLT. Denuvo makes sense when the game has already been released and holds players back in the first months of sales.
NLT is in production constantly - he would have to use this protection all the time and pay a lot of money for it. I don't think that makes sense to him. Now he has a more than working containment system)

NLTs new launcher for SoTS was most likely a direct response to TGOs launcher being cracked.
