difficult to say considering we dont have a crystal ball. but looking back, it took around 3/4 of a year until NLT released Symphany of a serpent after Genesis order, and even then, he kept adding extra missions to the Genesis order. Could be again a similar case, that at the end of 2026 he finishes the base game, keeps adding stuff though until he releases the next game mid/end 2027.
This game is too bad. We are waiting for something on the level of treasure of nadia.

Based on previous games, they concentrate on a game until the main story completes at 80%. Then then release it as version 1.0 to the likes of Steam.

The Patreons (and the pirates) then continue to get updates each fortnight for the remaining 20%, but the likes of Steam do not get another update until the game is 100% complete.

When the game is 80% complete they start working on the remaining 20% and the next game in parallel. Their efforts are split so the updates tend to be 1% rather than 2%.


That is what has happened in the past, there is no guarantee that they will repeat it next time but it is the best we have to go on.

As for when? That is simple mathematics, work on 4% per month, and it is very easy to work out how many months until 80%. For the remaining 20% work on 2% per month.

It’s all speculation but it is grounded in past history.

NLT said something like "at the end of the day I'm going to have to fill the game with pages of the Kama Sutra" in a podcast.

And yes, if we look closely, now, a year later, we have about 10 pages out of 50. With the current form of releasing updates, it is impossible to fill them all without stretching out the development time. So it sounds logical - the main plot of the game will end earlier, but updates with new pages will continue. Most likely, 1% every two weeks.

In addition to the pages, we also have girls on the side, to whom almost the entire update of secondary content is dedicated. That is, if TGO was considered long in terms of the plot with a lot of secondary content, then I now see SotS as a dynamic, shorter game with a simply insane amount of side content.
But I like these story chapters and I wish there were more of them.

so far for those playing the latest update found 49 main scens so far so who know if their almost done with the main story or this is only 2% of the story :sneaky:

Which update messed it up for you?

I always make copy of current files before moving update folders to folder with game.

Packed my config, global, autosave at 35% and normal save at 35% if you wanna try to switch your files. Autosave is SotS0 and normal save is SotS12.

Those are only 2 save files i have currently, don't have anything on lower completion %.

Edit: i would also try earlier update files to see if downgrading version fixes problem
Edit2: just checked and i still have rar file with .35071 update if you want it
