Yes. The Moan Zone animations and non-playable characters are basic and some unimportant things a bit clipped but the relationships between characters and backgrounds on my PC looks almost three-dimensional thanks to the varying speeds, orientation and geometry of the scenes. A good example of this is the expedition the MC, Lola and Grace made to the Osiran temple in the desert.



Personally I'm loving the game and impatient for more story involving Cleopatra, Margaret, Agrat and Athena.

I think that the existence of scenes from the trailer in the game should tell us that they are working well ahead of schedule. It was already planned and directed. At the same time, despite the success in terms of scenes, they developed the engine before our eyes. No one in their right mind would release a crude combat system while having a stable version in the basement.
One thing I can’t understand is why didn’t have tattoos in the first scene with Lola? Perhaps these scenes were ready even before the first teasers?

Your thinking is too linear. There is no rule that says scenes must be created in the order of their appearance in the game. In fact, it's a virtual guarantee that they are not.

Any dev worth their salt will have an overall plot planned out well in advance. Such a plot would include certain fix points that will always happen regardless of how the rest of the story might change during development. Renders and videos for these fix points can most definitely be created well ahead of time, especially if one plans to use them in the teaser/trailer.

It often happens that when showing something as an advertisement, developers completely cut it out or change it greatly. In the case of NLT, a lot is saved (and that's why I'm happy)

That's what a trailer is. It shows you glimpses of what will be in the game. But none of your predictions regarding the timeline is anywhere close to valid.

Very impressed with how well everything is put together so far. Voiced cut scenes are great. Art looks amazing. Really like the game play, remindes me of jackerman or milf toon beach, but not all janky. I'm going to go ahead and grab the rest of the NTL games, then get back into it.

You can enjoy these games in higher fidelity.

You have a lot to look forward to because the story chapters of SotS are great.

To be honest my biggest gripe with the game are the perfunctory side-girl chapters which reduce the story content of the game to half of what would be were SotS produced in the same way as earlier NLT Media games. In predecessor games every chapter was story based but with SotS we get a forced hiatus, every other chapter, thanks to robotic side-girl action. There are only two reasons I can think of for a disappointing schedule like this: (1) To reward players uninterested in the game's story, who crave its animated sex scenes, with booty call action obtainable quickly and easily with minimal effort and (2) To give the developers a breather and allow them to reallocate time saved to creating story episodes and improve the custom built game engine they've constructed etc. Personally I'm only really interested in story based episodes full of well fleshed out and interesting characters, complicated relationships, involving plots, coherent dialogues, puzzles, quests, tasks, humour, drama, peril, adventure, shocks and surprises rather than shallow side-girl action, no matter how well animated it may be, especially when said action reduces the sexy storytelling entertainment which delights me most by half.

(When SotS is complete it will have only 50% of the story it would otherwise have had thanks to side-girl content. )

The side-girl thing is not my thing but, fortunately, the rest of the game is fantastic and certainly my thing big time.
