Well, when he had 1000 paying subscribers, he made 10k a month, at 2500 paying subcribers, he made 25k a month. This is, again, the average estimate as if the middle tier would be the most booked one (I doubt it, I think most people buy the big one so they can play the most recent version).
This means a drop from 15k to 10k subscribers results in -50.000€ a month. That's over half a million in revenue lost over the course of a year, 600.000€ loss to be precise. Even more if the average subscription tier is higher than 10€.
That's like 1/3 of what he used to make just vanished into air, and a crazy amount of money.
He's still making a lot of money and maybe he doesn't even know what to do with all of it. He delivers some of the best NSFW games out there anyways, and as an artist, that's probably what is most important to him since his games really show his passion for making games.
But whether the monetary loss upsets him, and if that's due to the lack of incest in his recent games, are things only he knows. Looking at the data, the decline started by the end of 2023 - that's when The Genesis Order already had been in development for 2 years and people still subscribed without any incest content. Maybe they hoped for a patch after, maybe they didn't care.
I like incest games a lot and it would be cool if SotS would feature it, but I'm not missing it to an amount that would bother me. His games are so good that it's by far not the only reason to play them.
