There are no troubles about this.
It's the same for everyone.
Sometimes, you have no hint from Empusa or Serpent, but you have some stuff to do. Check the walkthrough shared by JoeyGucci.

dumb question here, but if you skip a few updates downloads, can you just download the "most recent" update or you need to download the entire game again?

updates on the 15th of each month are always "extras" updates, which means a new KS page, XXX clip, pinup and 2 side girl scenes. story updates are only on the 2nd, more development time for the voice acting and animated scenes.

I kept these versions on my local harddrive, if you're interested : .44101 & .45102

Hi for anyone with a knowledge of MAC and stuff like that I download the full game and I get it to run but it just says this: Error: EPERM: operation not permitted, mkdir '/Users/myname/Documents/SotS/' I can't find the SotS file at all in my computer and there's no other way to do anything like this. I would love for anyone to give me a step by step guide just to see how I can fix this and actually play the game.
