If you are able to Train/Corrupt Sha'El during daytime in your playthrough, that means you haven't encountered this bug and you're good to go.

Heh, thanks! As for the sources of inspiration... Lots and lots of fantasy media:
Books: The Witcher saga, The Black Company series, most of Lovecraft's novels
Games: Baldur's Gate 1 and 2, Planescape Torment, Elder Scrolls series, Dark Souls/Bloodborne/Elden Ring
Misc: Warhammer Fantasy(universe), Greek mythology ^^

As for the inspiration for mind control themes and scenes, I recommend checking out the Developer Notes in the OP of this thread.

In fact, one of the main reasons I hold your writing in such high regard is because of the distinctive fantasy characters you've created. Their traits aren't just skin-deep—they’re impressively reflected in their actions and dialogue. This makes the themes of control and corruption all the more vivid and compelling.


I think I didn’t express myself clearly enough in my previous comment. What I’ve been looking for are works with character development (or writing quality) as strong as this game, especially those that focus on corruption, mind control, or domination. From your reply, it seems the inspiration was drawn from different sources, and that these two elements were developed separately.


That said, thank you for taking the time to reply—I really appreciate it, no matter what.

A way to change the MC's name, if anyone wants it.

Simply open the file and change the 'Namechange's to your desired name, then drop it into the game folder.

I'm playing the first part of the game and I can say that it's a good game. It has an interesting story, and the main character has the ability to control minds. The only downside is that you can't see anything in the sex scenes. The screen goes black and you only see text. It can't be a sex game if you can't see the sex scenes.

Well, I'm playing it on Android. I downloaded it from a website called hotzone18, since English isn't my native language, but Spanish, and I downloaded the translated games. The game looks fine, the only drawback is the sex scenes, which, as I said, are shown in black and only the letters are visible.

Can anyone send me the completed part 1 of the game translated into Spanish for Android, or a translated patch for the game? My native language is not English, but Spanish. I searched everywhere on the internet and YouTube, but there isn't a single page that shows the completed part 1 of the game translated into Spanish.

I already checked it in English and they are visible. I wish someone could send me the first part of the game translated, since, as I said, English is not my native language, but Spanish, but anyway. I'll finish the game without the scenes and then download part 2. I just hope the same thing doesn't happen to me in part 2.

Hello,

The work on the next version is progressing, albeit slower than I'd have liked. That's due to several reasons, the most important being: one - real life got in the way - I had to become a caretaker for a close relative(at least for a few months) and that's on top of my real job and other private matters; and two - technical difficulty and scope of one of the main scenes featured in the upcoming release. It's a long action/story event with multiple characters, often in complex poses and with many special effects.

Still, despite these issues, I intend to deliver a version that's satisfying to all the SotV fans. However, it also means there will be a slight delay. A realistic deadline would be two more weeks, allowing me to finish everything I'd planned.

The next post will be the SotV 0.14 release itself for 5/10$ patrons.
