Not sure if it's just me, but the full download doesn't seem to work. I can only get to about 85% downloaded, then it fails and restarts, then get's stuck at 83%.
I ended up using the upgrade link, so I can still play the update, but I thought I'd let you know.
I've had that happen a few times with Mega for different game. I think it just has a chance to time out or drop connection if a download takes too long, so depending on how good your internet is and how big the file is that just happens sometimes.

Mary-Lou appears to erroneously exist, in carnivore mode. (playing on a png version updated from v6 to v7 if that matters)
Making a new save appears to have fixed whatever went wrong, but that seems especially odd, considering that I was *already* playing on a new save.
Upon further-further investigation, when I first opened the content preference settings on this save, it automatically set the three characters with variable genitals to have vaginas, for some reason, which also happened in the first save before I encountered Mary-Lou, but I loaded a prior save before thinking to check if Mary-Lou was present again, and the behavior has not repeated itself upon further openings of the preferences menu.
i think it would be great if there was a cheat code or maybe a auto finish button at the bottom of the jiggy slesction that lets you finish them imediatly as i struggle with puzzles
ANOTHER immediate update, despite the game having stopped automatically setting characters to no longer have dicks, Mary-Lou has still appeared from the void, despite girls (without dicks) having never been enabled at any point. (I feel like I'm having an aneurysm)
Maybe make it so that way the Relics are permabuffs. The Relics keep respawning giving the temp health buff which makes collecting items take longer.
So I got a weird bug. When I sell items the money doesn't get added into my total money, it just adds the digit of the sell price to the end of it making it so I'm filthy rich

Honestly, you should probably be more concerned about people not wanting gay stuff in games than anthro stuff.I am not saying this to belittle those who seek gay porn, but I am saying that those who do not want to see it will decline even downloading a game if it is not optional.

That sounds like an issue with MEGA, it's not something I can help with. Thankfully you were still able to play.
Yes indeedy! But I didn't mean for it to be a puzzle. The disclaimer right at the start identifies Syuro as the main artist.
With that said, due to how many times I've retrained the model on just cleaned-up AI works, his influence isn't as visible anymore, and the visual style at this point is more a hodgepodge of all the other artists who's works were stolen to train the checkpoints I use.
Unfortunately if there's a list out there, I haven't found it. So while I'd like to direct people who want to support artists towards a big list they can support, the only one I directly link to in game right now is Syuro.
I do wish there were an ethical way to do all the things I want to do, in the time frame I want to do them in. I also wish this topic weren't dominated by so many awful people who want to replace artists, and companies just eager to drain the life and soul out of people. But this game is entirely free, and I recommend anyone who likes this game for the art go support real artists instead. I like to think of it like I'm trying to make a big meal, and instead of learning how to cook a pizza for one of the dishes, I use a store-bought frozen one. It's not even AI related, my only contribution to Hentai University was the programming and writing, and before that I was using real porn clips.
Good grief, that fetish menu was such a mistake, the number of bugs it's caused has likely caused some kind of save file issue across the versions...
I think trying to make the fetish settings both update the game -and- have the fetish settings reflect the current game's state when opened has broken something.
For the system characters having weird genderswapping issues, the exact cause is that
* I implemented the fetish toggle system, and accounted for the player having an empty fetish list by initializing everything as "true", then editting them based on game settings.
* However, as I started to use fetish checks more, I made the game check fetishes right at the start. With the fetishes being empty at the start, this caused game errors. So I initialized the fetish list on game startup.
* This leads us to the current spaghetti, where starting a new game means the game initializes the fetishes array at a point where nothing is actually set, so it just sets things to the default value. The game then checks the fetishes array when the preferences menu is opened, the preferences menu options are all completely desynced and don't reflect your actual settings, and then when the window is closed
At least, that's what I think the issue is. I'll try and fix it asap!

But nah I'm just joking, sorry everything's bugging out. I'll need to do a smaller update this month to try and fight all the technical debt the fetish menu has added.
I feel you, but before I try that, I want to try and see if I can make an alternate style of easy mode that joins random pieces together right at the start. All the jiggies are just AI images, so they're only desirable because they take effort to get, so making them take less or very little effort would still be better than none at all.

It's not implemented yet, sorry. You can use the free the fur cheat code to unlock it and all the rest, but that's more for testing. I want to use the alternate outfits as a mini-holiday where you go out and visit the folks during a rainy day, and they're wearing their outfits.
Ah, you mean the hanniwa? The thing there is they restore your current stamina and give a buff to your next one. But they do need some rebalancing, I'd like to make it so only one blue chest can appear per dig, and have the hanniwa restore more so it becomes advantageous to find him as an HP refresh.

You can already disable all of the boys in the game right from the start.
Now granted, it doesn't directly say in-game this disables gay content. Topics of sexuality are complex and extremely messy. Back in my first game, Human Alteration App, the game got labeled gay for because you (a guy) could seggs a girl with a dick. Arguments about that lasted for as long as the entire game's lifespan, so I try not to touch anything to do with that topic at all, hence why the main modes are labelled vegetarian and carnivore.
The main reason for the non-furry mode is I'm coming to this game after making Hentai University and Anomaly Vauly, and a lot of players of those are a lot more vanilla and I've gotten a lot of feedback from those players that they aren't interested in Syrup Town.
I thought at first it was just because of the fur, but now I'm also making the non-furry version of the game a non-shortstack version as well.
It's still a WIP. There's a lot to juggle:
* I want to still be able to update the game's thread even if I spend a month just making the femc version, so I can't just make it an entirely separate game.
* I need to still be able to update the main penis version of Syrup Town without needing to make femc content for every update, otherwise the work per update would balloon out.
* I need to place hard limits on how far the femc content can progress so that they don't continue on into content that's finished in one version and not the other, or things will break.
* Marlow and Mary-Lou will need to be removed or replaced entirely.
* Whatever solution I find will need to work with the non-furry version, which already faces a set of very similar issues.
I'll work on fixing up all those fetish menu issues, and a strange bug where Bluebell, Riley, and Sharly are having weird dialogue issues. Here's some big ol' bat titties for your patience:
