I just finished the game on Spoiled path. I'm a bit disappointed there was no porn jobs for MJ despite the game being called tabletop pornstar. Unless it's path related or I'm missing something?

All the end routes are not yet included in the game, it is not "Complete", hence the v0.8 .
Dev has hinted a few times that there are/will be endgame routes where MJ does become a "Star" in a sub-genre of the Porn category.

But will we have it during the game or will it be just an ending? Because we have acting, voice acting etc jobs, but not porn.
That last changelog didn't help either("I can't write anyting else", "all content comes after round 99"). He was probably talking about this update specifically but it might be confusing for some(especially those playing this for the first time).
Hey, thx for playing. The lesbian pornstar path will be the last I'll make (by design). The way I see it, a girl like MJ must be sure she doesn't have a valid future in any of the other 'decent' routes to be persuaded to follow that path, right? I'll be very interested to read everyone's thoughts.

It's a shame tbh. A game called Tabletop Pornstar(or atleast used to be called that) with a corruption theme and the only porn route is lesbian. I can't speak for everyone(I'm sure some people are happy with that) but to me that's a huge letdown. I was really hoping we could turn her into Sasha Grey.
But it's your game so you do whatever you want with it.

I haven't had interest (and haven't subbed to patreon) since the first few endings hit, because I don't think I'm going to enjoy the rest of them either, I used to sub every month when there was a new release before. I think it's simply unrealistically forced vanilla, and for a porn game, that's unenjoyable after a certain point.
It's okay if it wasn't visually explicit (which it is), but I could literally watch any film/comic about Hollywood and it would have more unhinged sexual/implied content. Hollywood, especially 90's hollywood = sexploitation, infidelity, drugs, orgies, old bastards throwing money towards girls. The whole game's development (and I have spent about as much money as a AAA game on it by now admittedly) feels like the Dev trying to make forum neckbeard happy rather than making a convincing story that fits the narrative at hand.
This plays like an ntr game without ntr, if it was going to be vanilla nun sim, it shouldn't have had the 90's hollywood theme, manipulative age gap MC, cuckqueaning, 10 different lesbian flings and the insinuation that she would even remotely do even soft "porn". If the same game was made in modern setting with the girl being an OF model, literally nothing would be wrong with the game as it plays like it. The whole setting feels wasted because of invisible walls around the plot. I can guarantee any 90s hollywood actress' biopic would be more interesting and explicit.
Hey old friend. I feel the need to express my gratitude not only for your support but mostly for your constructive feedback all these years. I really am sorry to disappoint you (and many others who expected a hardcore corruption game). It wasn't my intention to divide my audience. I just follow my question (as with Goss_IP): Is my idea good enough to become a movie?
The trope of a sleazy talent agent who drives his clients in deep corruption filled with drugs and sexual abuse is already overused imho. Frankly, I couldn't enjoy playing an evil MC like Xander. Also, MCs 'forbidden' relation with MJ slowly becomes intimate and romantic which I believe is more realistic than the usual cliches many think when it comes to 90s Hollywood.
All the things you mention (sexploitation, infidelity, drugs, orgies, old bastards throwing money towards girls ecc) exist in TTBS but instead of being a pimp, I preferred to portray the MC as a decent guy who tries to protect his ward from these dangers (as you can see in v0.8).
I know I can't convince anyone when it comes to taste. But believe me, I've tried dozens of times to imagine MJ thrown in the mud, being a sex hungry pornstar in a gangbang while the MC counts the money in a corner and it always left a bad taste in my mouth. I know I might have had ten times more supporters if I did but... I just don't feel like doing it to MJ. I guess I'm not ruthless enough like George RR Martin (and kill everyone lol).

I agree that the hardcore corruption, turn the girl into a mindless cum dumpster for every random pervert, is well overused, and pretty disgusting.
Unless you are going to have loads of branching paths like Good Girl Gone Bad, it's probably better to do a few and do them well.
I tend to skip the soulless corruption and go for the lesbian path in games like this. Still have a little corruption, but you can also care about the girl and not feel like you are just taking out the trash.

I already have way too much Vanilla IRL. The whole point of playing an adult game for me is exactly to do what I can't or wouldn't IRL. But different strokes for different folks, I guess.
And I really wanted the dev or other people here to point me to games where Hollywood agents take advantage of their actresses. You guys are claiming it's so common so please give me examples.
The only one I've played is Hack n Stalk 3 by The Architect and it was a very short incomplete game that he only made to test some things out for his next game.

I came back to this title only recently. With all the decissions, which are supposed to matter, the side stories and the three different personalities MJ can develop, this game really would benefit from a proper walkthrough.
I played through the latest version from scratch (it took me a couple of hours) and I need to confess, that the board game mechanic gets tiresome at some point. I didn't mind it in the beginning at all, but later on, it got tedious.
It makes me wonder why save editing (f.e. certain stats and money via renpy editor) is blocked in this game. It's a reasonable way to skip some of the grind and save some time. Ultimately, it is the players' decision how much of their maybe rare free time they want to invest, isn't it?
Without a walkthrough players miss out a lot of possible content. I guess, that's intended for replayability reasons, but for now I really don't feel like playing 80+ turns again and investing quite a few hours for a couple of scenes I didn't see the last time.
F.e. I've missed the entire pornstar storyline. I didn't know better without a walkthrough and made the decissions which I thought were best for MJ. She became successful as an non-adult actress in the end in my playthrough, but I would have liked to see some of the more raunchier scenes with her, too.
Maybe I got it all wrong and there isn't a pornstar storyline in v.08, yet. Without a walkthrough I can't know... Anyway in my playthrough I've never seen these two scenes f.e.:

The "A" button in the save pages selection is where the "auto-save" that Renpy makes every time there is a menu decision taken are found. "Q" is for quicksaves (if that is enabled by the dev). The numbers are the pages for manual saves.
I don't mean to criticize how you choose to play, but why on earth do you need more than 100 save slots? there are not even close to that many choices in the game. There's no point saving before each round, the dice rolls are not "true random" due to the way Renpy is designed to avoid save-scumming - you'll get the same sequence of die rolls for the same series of actions every time.
well, for games i like, i make a save when there is a hot render so i can watch it whenever i want, i also make a save before game's events i like so i can replay them again.
without this you need to replay parts of the game in order to access your favorites moments for whenever you pick up the game later.
some games have plenty of nice renders that are not in the gallery, so i need to make a save each time i see a nice render in order to be able to access and watch it immediately.
so it's not only for choices saves but for easy access to good renders and events.
As i'm a fan of the art style of this game and good art style like good girls gone bad, doing similar stuff myself at home, i used to keep good renders.
i hope you understand my way of doing thinking.

I hear what you're saying and i'm of the same camp. I can't stomach playing a evil MC.
That said I don't see this as a reason why we can't have MJ go down the more traditional corrupted pornstar route. As it currently stands, MJ's decent into perversion via the Salon or Amber comes over as the MC's indecisiveness rather then cruelty. The whole incident with the voice impersonator leans heavily on this aspect, thus allowing the MC the dubious act of leading MJ on about his trustworthyness. We did't plan to cheat the house arrest system like an evil MC would, we fell backwards into a similar situation.
Similarly MJ could go down the route of some BBC sizequeen pornstar (for example) as a result of the MC failing to "raise" her properly and MJ going all out rebelious teen on his ass. Bad ends as a result of incompetence as a washed-up agent who couldnt keep his client from doing career-ruining things, like punch the director during a live interview, rather then cruely forcing her ruin herself. This way MJ can keep her sense of agency in her decisions and the MC can keep his morals (generally) above board.
