not beta, no images means either faulty dl or mssing codec like webm/webp codecs.

i know so my statement isn't wrong necessarily. re-dl with jdownloader and extract with 7zip and install webm codecs.

install webm codecs.

You don't need to install any codecs for Ren'py when the Renpy version is supporting the format.
Renpy includes an own FFmpeg library for videos.

There are 2 comments about "The Cult" storyline videos from a couple of days ago on the Patreon post from 2 users (no other comments and 1 of them is for Android), but nothing from the dev, it was just updated from v.11 to v.12 2 days ago.

So far in this game .. it is either MC pokes the girl with the extra and explores the cult, or he does not go there. There are three separate investigations going on and MC can pick and choose.

The only problem I have with this game is that you are locked from one of the 3 investigations. Really weird choice for a game. Thank god the mod enables it, but that also means I cannot play it without the mod.

If this is not beta, it looks rushed asf. Entire scene not rendered except 1-2 stills. A bunch of repeating lines from drafts that were kept in. It's usually what you'd expect from a test build.
