Nah, unless you are some high def, ultra quality junkie, most won't notice. It's a pretty even divide of people who download uncompressed vs compressed.

Unless you play on a 15" screen the lower quality of the compressed version is pretty noticeable. But that's the downside of wanting a compressed version for whatever reason

2-hdd space
3-most don't notice the difference or care
4-most still don't have high-speed internet, or still god forbid still have "caps" in this day-in-age
5-some don't want to waste downloading something like 10GB if they end up deleting 5 minutes later
6-a lot of them use these as base for android ports
