Because "Domingo" came from the latim "dies dominicus" (or "dominica"), means "day of the Lord", all romanic languages (Castilian or Spanish [ domingo ], Italian [ domenica ], French [ dimanche ]...) have this day. And the ancient pagans whose worship the sun have the "Sunday" (English, obvious) and Sonntag (German).Good luck with the game, irmão. Tell me this, though. If the week starts on Sunday, and Monday is the second day of the week, then Monday is Segunda-Feira, correct? Why, then, is Sunday not Primeira-Feira?
Ladies and gentlemen, we got 'em
Hope you enjoy the enlightment.
