I have worked in project management - "approximate" is not a promise, not a commitment, not a deadline. A date is a deadline. Even better if there is a time attached.You're either the dev in disguise or you outright refuse to use your reading comprehension skills.
If that isn't explicit enough, not even taking into account all the other times this has happened before I don't know what else to say.
Also, as is stated in the discord faq for the devteam:
3) 'When's the next update out?'
The next update will be out once it's ready. We take pride in having our word matter, so we won't fully commit to a release date unless we're confident we can make it!
"approximate" is never considered a commitment, it's exactly what it is - an approximation.
