Curious to know why Uber keeps searching another platfrom to sell the product? I knew got a ban from Steam was a deep blow/ disappointed thing for his team. However, do Subscribestar give his less money? I imagine with his current number of subscibers on Substiberstar he gets a lot of numbers (money/revenue)...
Or just he simply want to get more because of his big expense? Building/ maintaining a gamedev team as far as I know, it is not cheap...

Having it on a store like Steam is good for income, but the real value is in the visability of the game being seen by a much larger user base. They would make a decent amount of money on subcribestar, or else they wouldn't have sunk 12 months into a remaster.

You are correct in the first part -- I think you are imagining the second part. Uberpie had, at one time, a second writer on board to specifically write the netorare path. That lasted one update (v0.95.7).

Now to break down the ridiculousness that is Uberpie from his announcement now that it is 29 January in nearly all of the world: See Taffy Tales Off-Topic thread.

No irony.

I would say the two main reasons are the character model's initial artwork (hence why only through v0.89.8) and Danny exploring their sexuality (first through crossdressing as Vivian in private, and then through interactions with Peter).

And what happened after version v0.89.8? Does this affect all characters?

Nah, no negativity from me right now. In general, I only go after the most outrageous takes. I was just in a bit of a lyrical mood and wanted to hear from people who’ve been following the project for a long time - what characters they like and which ones they don’t. But if not, then not. I’m not pushing it.

I love Mary. She was the reason I started to play this game and support it. I love her character design, her thickness and her curves. I do wanna see her more in the NTR with her and Darnell bc i think that was the focal point of Taffy Tales popularity (I may be wrong about that, but also that's how I found out about Taffy Tales was bc of that gym scene lol, and also Sara too). many people hated it lol. I understand that it is a controversial topic but hey each to their own.

I came here for Mary because she was a hot milf who had a pretty good plot rather early on in the games development, so I'm looking forward to her in the redux. But I've stayed for Tiffany who's had some of my favorite scenes pre-S5. Even with the start of S5 we were moving in a good direction and I even like the updates to her art/model made in S5 (even though some scenes have been wildly inconsistent with the character). Still pretty heartbroken that we're years away from something that felt so close to getting a proper conclusion a few years back, but at the same time, I look forward to their updates of her route in the redux.

Maybe I'm foolish to think this, but I sincerely hope that after this hurdle of a release comes out, they can actually iterate on updates faster. That's probably the biggest reason I don't really hate them making a remake. I'm hoping that this year of development has lead them to a position in which they can iterate on updates every few month (<= 3).

in all honestly I only played one of the last updates for season 5, is the whole AI artwork going to be there for the release?
