While I don't care for AI, I can usually accept or tolerate it when an artist uses their own art as the base, but these borderline hyper detailed CG looking abs look too weird man, way too different from the usual art style and just look uncanny.

Since the game is basically being redone and he'll probably continue using AI, I hope that he does touchups on some of the existing AI art because some of these just look awful.

You mean you dont have a 10 pack? Yeah Ai just loves adding muscles where there arent any. It just doesnt get human anatomy, thus the classic finger issue.

Work like that can never be the sole purpose of an update, especially a big one. Just patch it in piece by piece if you need to, and update it in the changelog, people ultimately don't care about that stuff, the sex is the selling point. I myself have learned this when it came to the "Redux update" when I worked on Amity Park.

Now, I get it - people come to projects like this mainly for the CGs, so it's fair to call me out for a poor allocation of resources, priorities, and all that. If I were starting the project from scratch, I'd definitely approach things differently. On top of that, much of this content has been revised over time, leading to a mountain of low-quality assets. But that’s the bad stuff. Let’s talk about the positives - and why I’m even writing all this in the first place.

It seemed to me as if UberPie had taken a nice long vacation before and only worked on it in the game for 3 months!

That was exactly as much content as the last game but it only lasted 4 months. I'm ashamed that I supported him.
I feel like I've been cheated. 5$ x 8 months = 40$ for a cheap piece of shit?!
There are others who paid $20 (which I can't believe either) who paid a total of 8 times for $160.

The UberPie made a lot of money with 30% tax deductions, but still made a lot and probably thought where he was on the sunny beach: "Screw it, they get what they want, regardless of whether I put in AI art or just a little content. Ha hah ha that idiot!”

Knew he would take a risk just by making this statement and blamed the fans for not being satisfied with his work?!?!

He didn't take his feedback seriously, let alone address it. He made a lot of complaints on "Patreon" because of his massive criticism, especially regarding the delayed updates, and since the last one he has confirmed that he is changing things by using the "Steam" platform.

Since the last update in February 2023 I have been disappointed and angry (the others even donated $20 a month), but I donated $5 (for gas money or a pack of condoms or cigarettes) to The Taffy Tales Team for 3 years. It's a shame that he is even more obsessed with money.. Really a shame for the developer.

As someone who has followed this game for a hot minute, I have to agree that retouch of previous art is getting lowkey annoying. I understand touching up on previous content to make the game look cleaner, but this usually happens after a huge update with new massive content to keep fans occupied. This just seems like the creator is dangling a piece of carrot at the end of stick telling you that if you run faster, which in this case keep donating, and the massive update we're looking for will eventually come. I really hate to talk negative about the game cause it is amazing and entertaining. Here's hoping that an update of massive proportion comes soon.

Tbh old bg's looked better. I know many people will disagree with me, but old bg's have that "old visual novels" vibe in them. The new ones is just fever dream souless AI glossy plastic. Why is there some random kids on paintings in cinema? Why is there a blood stain on a white blouse on the left? Why is there some random crap on table, and why one stack of clothing is overlaying the other? Why does shop doors looks like glass panels with handles attached to it? Why is reflection in the mirror doesn't make any sense? I know why – Uber is just so tired of working this game to the point when he will do absolutely anything, except actually work on the game. I just can't think of anything else that would justify what he is doing.

There has been no advancement on it since its introduction in v0.95.7. There's been no mention of it by the developer in any of the posts on Patreon (before Uberpie got booted) or on Subscribestar in the past 16 months or so.
