Wow, the AI art in this is not subtle at all. Is Uber yet to address this or has there not been enough backlash from patrons? I used to be indifferent on AI use but it feels like none of the supposed benefits have come to fruition. The game still takes just as long, if not longer for releases to come out.

It's well known that he used to trace other artist's works for his scenes, so It is very much in character for him to go down the IA route. To be honest It wouldn't be a problem for me if the updates came faster from this, but that is not the case.
It doesn't even look like Sara, looks like a different character in her clothes.

This was always the case. No consitency in faces when the angle is different. Dark Cookie has the same problem in Summertime Saga.
That's a disingenuous comparison imo, there is a difference between inconsistency in drawing/shading/manual errors and a character looking different/lacking details at all because the creator doesn't want to bother. At least this is getting updates unlike SS though.

No, Mary doesn't look like Mary as soon as you see her in a different angle. Same goes for Tiffany, Clara, Priscilla, Becca. They look different because UberPie is not able to draw the same face from different angles. And he doesn't care.
i just soft locked myself and am about to lose an hour of progress, and this is a cry for help. you guys know a way to get out of the toilet during the nightmare with the killer mask lady.

Not sure anyone really knows. At one time it was assumed Uber was but then lots of reports that he traced others work and used it for his game not entirely sure to be honest. Could be the rumors are false as they are so often but also could be the rumors are true at one point in this thread long ago I think someone kind of proved that another artist had almost the same art long before Ubers game was a thing. It was so long ago now that I am not sure where those posts are you could try searching the thread , have no clue what words to use in your search...
One more thing, does saves not get ported from previous versions. Do we have to play from the start every other version?
Cause I was following your video guide and just realized this game has a heck of a content. But I cannot be expected to repeat this over and over again for every new release you know.
P.S. The reason I am asking this is because when I was reading old change logs I saw that after every few releases, the dev expects us to make a whole new clean save?

The quick answer is: See #3 in my FAQ here - #30,785
If you are playing either v0.89.8 or v0.95.7 - you are fine. If you are playing v0.68.2 or older - STOP. Start from day one on v0.89.8 because some of the structure was changed in v0.82.4/v0.85.1 and everyone had to start from day one.
It is implied that each update from this version (starting this version v0.95.7) forward will be separate Seasons starting at new content directly. That also means that if you want to play older content, you'll have to download those seasons separately.
