based on the initial reading (mostly skipping text). i hope this game will have multiple endings. i mean, the way the dev introduce the world building is super interesting. a town (what you initially thought is just a normal town) corrupted where almost every women there, whether you want it or not, sooner or later the women will be brainwashed to become sluts. here comes our mc, awaken his 2nd personality after an accident.
my thought of possible endings:
1. Heroic/Love Route
MC will save eveyone, had possible harem (with all women) or just 1/more partner(s), no NTR, possibilty of grope/molesting scene by non-MC
2. Crime Lord/Domination Route
MC will take adventage of the corruption and become the underworld crimelord, domination route, no love, possibilty of harem or NTR or both
3. Neutral Route (Going with the flow)
MC doesn't really care what happened to the women in the town, he befriends some, he fucks some, possibilty of harem and NTR
4. Despair Route (False Hope route)
MC will try to save eveyone, but he fails everytime, resulting in his love one get NTR
5. Cuckold Route (Voyeurism)
MC likes being cuckoled, he even helps to makes sure he got cuckolded, NTR

sure it takes huge effort to make multiple endings, but it sure is worth it to wait.
sadly the dev separate the route into two games, main and NTR, making it having no sense of freedom of choice

Also, the choice of the developer to make completely separate routes, and then on top of that completely separate "games" for each route, is because of the backlash by a very small group of vocal members within a group of fans who are anti-netorare.

Most people who don't like netorare don't care if they have optional netorare paths within one game... But there is a small segment which do not like even to see an option placed before them. They are the ones who convinced the developer (who enjoys netorare) to segregate his content out of fear not doing so would tank his subscriber numbers.... Even though when he did expand the development of netorare, he saw record increases in percentage and hard numbers and record high.

This was before patreon kicked him off the site because other content he included was found to be in violation of their guidelines (that being at least the second time he was doing by them to be in violation).

The "new" version is just going to be the first fourth or so of the old version (whatever they decide is "Season 1") with a little more added content, supposedly... To be submitted for consideration on Steam. That would be main route content, as it stands.

Does somebody know where the saves are stored or how to reset the game?

Found it:
Linux: ~/.config/unity3d/UberPie/TaffyTales/prefs
Mac: ~/Library/Preferences/unity.uberpie.taffytales.plist
Windows: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\UberPie\TaffyTales
Android (requires root): /data/data/com.UberPie.TaffyTales/shared_prefs/com.UberPie.TaffyTales.v2.playerprefs.xml

Because of their inability to have save compatibility, that's why - except for 2 or 3 (v0.82.4/v0.85.1 and like one or two way back in the single digit versions) of the dozen or so previous releases, they've had a preloaded save for players to start at new content... when there was old content that was applicable.

That said, seeing as the next update is strictly a part of the first segment of Taffy Tales which they are now calling "Season 1" as a submission to see if they can get it listed on Steam... yes, yes, players will have to start at day one from the beginning -- even with any "new content" they may be adding using AI images.

Exactly, Uberpie got massive support after getting kicked from Patreon, and should had atleast delivered something to show to his new & old Subscribestar supporters .
But , nah the willingness of the community to help his project has induced compliance again and he's going back to taking 6-8-10 months to deliver just enough content to keep the money flowing.
