I generally agree with you, it's just the money they are making makes me wonder why they do certain things like feeling the need to release on steam, overblown usage of AI that still misses multiple fingers and incorrect anatomy (although they do take the time fix it in bug fix releases), and the over usage of AI in general which brings an inconsistent look to characters from scene to scene (The couch scene with Mary on her knees and a collar on in particular was really egregious, didn't even look like the character, or Tiffany's weird face change in the park, Sara's new body in the last update, Clara crying jizz tears, etc). I'll admit that the previews we've seen lately have been a step in the right direction when it comes to art, but I would hope that with their gigantic success would translate into more attention to detail over time, not less.Yup.
You're crazy.
It's none of our business.
How little or much they earn does not affect us.
We don't pay a penny by downloading it from here (arrrrggggh, me matey. We be pirates!).

So it don't concern me none.
Nope. The abandoned flag is for 3 months without an update with no regular communication from the developer or 18 months without an update even with communication from the developer. As the copy/pastes of the Subscribestar posts here prove, the developer is communicating regularly (F95 rules on the flag).
Nope. They aren't renaming it. It's still Taffy Tales. Yes, they are reworking it with all the same elements remaining in it, but that doesn't necessarily trigger the need for a separate thread (F95 rules on separate threads).
