Didn't play s1 redux and most likely never will, but in the old version(s1-4 and 5) only the stuff you opted out of/didn't choose were missing in the gallery.

They are specifically and intentionally breaking up their content into separate downloads called "seasons." They stated they intended to do so when they released what they currently call "Season 5" in July 2023. When they got booted from Patreon in March 2024, they decided that it was the time to move forward with that idea.

It is more like the final submitted draft of the work that has been in progress over the years.

It's like when you wrote an essay for school: You developed an outline, you wrote a first draft, you trashed it, you started again, you revised it, you did some more editing, and then, in the end you had a final draft that you turned in for grading. Same goes for game development.

That is what the Season # Reduxes are - the "final" version of the portion of the game that they represent - with old content, updated and revised, plus some content not seen before for that portion.

Normally I would do some screenshots to show just how easy - but I'm working on something else right now, so...
There is no code available for Season 1 Redux. Yes, we know there is a place for it, but no code has ever been given.

Really this game needs reboot? it was fine and there was nno problem with anybody. the dev used ai shit inn this game and this is considered better than originnal? Proves how hard the devs are working using ai .

Obviously you didn't/can't read - for several reasons:

• I never said it was a "reboot." It wasn't ever "booted" in the first place. It was always in development for "booting." You can't "reboot" if you don't "boot" first. Season 1 Redux is the "boot."
• I never said AI is better than the original. In fact, I have stated over an over in this thread how I feel about AI and how this developer has poor attention to detail when using it.
• Finally, I never said this developer was working hard - using AI or not.

this game hasn't had a free version in several years. It used to be when a new version came out, the old version became free to the public. But that hasn't happened since around v0.68.1 or earlier.

Former patreons and subscribestar subs who contributed a certain amount get Season 1 Redux free.

Otherwise it's at least $25 usd on itch for Season 1 Redux only (or more on dlsite and nutaku). Each season redux will be a separate purchase.

I'm not on the discord - so I haven't read anything there about the patch, but, it looks like the patch adds back in content which they have taken out in order to attempt to remain on itch (perhaps, at the same time they made it possible to revert Mary and Tiffany back to Peter's family). I posted about this Saturday (#37,157) - here's an update on my previous post:

It appears that the latest version of Season 1 Redux v1.1.45_beta v1.1.53_beta IS different and is not just bugfixes, tweaks ... it has LESS CONTENT than v1.0.40_beta ...

See how the file size is up to almost 1 Gig less in the latest version than in what can be found in OP and in v1.0.40_beta?

And that links to the currently subscriber-only post that is available to people who are even "FREE" subscribers to his Subscribestar. I don't have a Subscribestar account - so I don't have access. But I would assume it says what we can assume ---- in v1.1.45 v1.1.53, they have locked-out/removed Clara's bathroom scenes and other content they think might be in violation of itch's rules and then released an official patch to download elsewhere to restore the content. It appears they have found even more content to pull out that might have violated itch's rules.

But the images Uberpie uses on itch to promote the game still have the images of the content they would have locked-out/removed - so, we'll wait and see.
