i don't get it either, is there already a new update to redux or it's just an update to the changlog about a version that hasn't released yet?

Hey everyone, I'm completely confused – please help me figure this out!

An update was released today. Am I correct in assuming this means new content (for the first season)? Or is it just news? (Then why is the game marked as if there's an update?) – I'M NOT CLEAR.

This update is still titled season 1 of the redux and if you go to UberPie's patreon you see they have posted something about season 2 of redux which makes me assume that this update is nothing but who knows honestly or a tease for season 2.. don't really feel like playing through everything to find out. Either way this should mean season 2 is close, I guess?

5 episodes in, we must get an AI remake and season 1 remake was just now finished meaning we must wait another 5 years for the game to continue from where it left offo_O

Why though? They had a good thing...
Because why make money through effort when you can make money without it? It's the catch-22 of crowd funded development. You put your game up on as many sites as you can, work until you've got a fairly steady income that doesn't go up our down much, and then you absolutely cut your effort to the minimum you can get away with. ICSTOR did it years ago, DarkCookie is doing it now, Gunsmoke Games has literally spent over nine months with one release that's just a cobbled together renpy port of an unfinished event from the main Something Unlimited, MagicNuts has put out one release in the last two and a half years... the list goes on and on and on because crowd funding is easy to abuse. Why would Taffy Tales, a developer who was already producing a game that updated once or twice a year with very little content added, not seize the advantage AI afforded them in grifting?

News flash: nobody is going to go through almost 2000 pages, or even 5 to get their question answered when they can just type it in five seconds.
News flash... No one is staying to go through 2000. But when the answer is on the same exact page.... TWICE...

And typing into the search box takes even less than "five seconds"... And you get the answer immediately.

I keep forgetting there needs to be people like this to balance out those with higher intelligence for the average to be what it is.
