Hello friends!I’ll try to keep this brief again. Work is in full swing, and the vast majority of the demo is already complete. I’ve put a massive amount of effort into it, especially since it serves as the introduction to the story.

I also want to remind you that absolutely all the text from the old updates has been rewritten or significantly expanded. I like the result much, much better now, and I hope you will share that sentiment. The art has also been drawn from scratch, as the old assets were too weak to simply touch up or update. Regarding the art, I’m not entirely objective because I’m so deep in the process that I sometimes can't see the full picture (as I’ve mentioned before), but I believe it is a big improvement.

I finally have the freedom to weave my ideas directly into the story without fear of them being distorted. Previously, the language barrier made it incredibly hard to realize my full vision or connect with you properly. Now, I am working hard to fulfill those past promises.

As I mentioned in the previous post, we tried very hard to release the project this year, but this season has grown significantly in scope (yes, that’s my fault - I struggle to know when to stop adding things!). Consequently, our new approximate target is January. Right now, my main priority is getting the demo released.

Regarding the importance of our Steam release: Steam currently represents 95% of the market (especially after the events of this past summer), so I don't think I need to explain why a successful launch there is so critical for us. In any case, you believed in us and supported us, so you will definitely receive Season 2. The Steam release is more about securing the long-term future of the project.

Once again, a huge thank you for everything. I really mean that.
can't wait!!!

First of All Thanks Van For Consistently Posting Updates On This Game, I Don't Know If Anyone Still Spending On this Every weekly Just To See Nothing And Repeated Words. The game Cost Like 25 dollar But The Amount of times he delayed And Keeps Updating nothing every month looks like he made more than 60 dollars just From 1 person.

Well I won't Get My Hopes Up Till I see The Game, And I can Definitely Say They Won't Release It at The End of January Because Disappointment Is Their Motto Nowadays. I hope the game Better be More Than A Week Worth of gameplay, Because The Amount of time he took and said it will be Bigger Has to be Atleast A Week work of content or Else Something Bigger Will be waiting For him.

For play the entire game i need to play only the last version or the season 1-4 and 5 for separate?
See:
Great question. It all depends upon what you want to do.

Do you want to play a version with a lot of content? Go play v0.89.8 "Seasons 1-4" and then v1.07.3 "Season 5" <-- these are both the "in development" versions, not "finished" retail.

If you strictly want a netorare playthrough, play the short completely optional and separate netorare route in v1.07.3 "Season 5" <-- this is the "in development" version, not "finished" retail.

Do you want to see 4k images and video with some additional content added of the first 20% or so of the game, all of it in AI generated art? Play Season 1 Redux. <-- this is the "finished" retail version, nothing more will be added to it. Further Season Redux versions will be separate downloads in the future.

Because of itch's rules, Redux has content Uberpie thinks could get it banned on itch.io. As such. That content is removed and is unpatched. If you want that content, Uberpie offers a free official patch to restore it. Download the official patch and install it within the Redux. See instructions in the installation spoiler.

Thank you for sharing, I would be really concerned by this "I finally have the freedom to weave my ideas", it's not a matter of could but should, they should do something productive with their money and hire a project manager

The demo thing worries me with his trackrecord. It seems likely to me that he'll release the demo on February (I doubt we'll see anything this month or in January) and hold the full release until he feels he has enough support to make bank.

Within the first 30 mins I found 3 Quests, where it states: This route was changed to comply with platform guidelines. Binoculars, a present/paket and a door in the school. What does this mean? Is this censored because of this being a "community release"? What will I am going to miss here?

Hello everyone,

The vast majority of the demo is now complete! We are working hard to finalize the introduction to the story.

Everything is New

We have rewritten or significantly expanded all the text and redrawn the art from scratch. The old assets didn't meet our standards, so we rebuilt them to ensure the quality is where it needs to be.

New Schedule

Due to the significantly increased scope of the project, we have adjusted our timeline:

  • Public Demo: Targeted for December.
  • Full Release: Targeted for the end of January.
Support the Launch

A successful Steam launch is critical for the future of this project. If you want to support us, please add the game to your Wishlist. It matters now more than ever.

I am so confused. Is the original game dead or completed? Is the Redux a new story? And what "demo" is the dev working on?
Pretty sure these questions have been answered but without an index 1914 pages are too many to scan

There is a search function on every page of this thread - and you can specify searching the thread. And in your personal settings, you can set search results to sorted by date (see my signature for details).

No, the "original" is not dead.
No, the "original" is not completed.
No, the redux is not a new story.
The "demo" is the demo of the Season 2 Redux: Morning After, which is the next release expected.
See:
Here's the TL;DR:

They named everything through v0.89.8 as "Seasons 1-4" in July of 2023. They stated at that time they were going to break those up into season at some point down the line. (Basically, from what I can tell - its primarily because of Uberpie's inability to figure out saves continuing over different releases AND that the size of the game - in GB - was getting too much and they didn't want to keep adding to the size)

They got kicked off Patreon in March of 2024 (for violating policies regarding content, for years even after having to revamp Family Tales/Taffy Tales in 2018 and saying they would not violate policies further). At that time, they decided it was time to break apart into Seasons to sell as retail versions on Steam. The first - "Season 1 Redux" - was revised, revisited, and revamped the User Interface and other aspects while also using AI for the art modeled upon Uberpie's previous artwork.

Steam did not accept their submission in January of 2025 due to the "gray area" of the school (college) setting with younger looking characters. And so they are now selling "Season 1 Redux" on itch.io. They also recently created a censored version that is for sale on DLsite. And, finally, because itch.io is being more restrictive on content on their site, Uberpie altered the "Season 1 Redux" to put black screens for scenes where Uberpie thinks the content could get it banned on itch.io. Uberpie offers a free official patch to restore the content. It doesn't have any new content than when it was released at the beginning of 2025 - it just replaces the black screens with content that was removed in August 2025-ish.

Season 1 Redux is about 20% of all the previous content, almost entirely from the first part of the game. Now with (nearly?) all AI art sized at 4k resolution. About 1/3 of the CG gallery are new lewd scenes not seen before.
And, this should help you wrap your head around the "Redux" concept:
It is more like the final submitted draft of the work that has been in progress over the years.

It's like when you wrote an essay for school: You developed an outline, you wrote a first draft, you trashed it, you started again, you revised it, you did some more editing, and then, in the end you had a final draft that you turned in for grading. Same goes for game development.

That is what the Season # Reduxes are - the "final" version of the portion of the game that they represent - with old content, updated and revised, plus some content not seen before for that portion.
And, I think, finally - when people ask "what should I play, then?":
