Unity doesn't "take a cut" from developers like Uberpie.I wonder why they’ve stuck to unity aswell. With the remake excuse they have and how many corners UberPie likes to cut, don’t get why they wouldn’t switch over to an engine that isn’t taking a cut. I bet they could even get the game working in Godot.
And if Uberpie ever gets to the point that they are making $1 million per 12 months, paying $25,000 is a drop in the bucket --- less of a cut than either Patreon, Subscribestar, or Steam take for hosting a developer on their platform.
