you can skip most of them but some are obligatory, i.e the Luda rape scene
I mean, if you count "static, two image movements" as an animation, then some of them are "animated".
Aside from those, there's only the Chilistə card that is an actual gif.

Regarding your second point, I figure the reason any of that has a bad rap is because of the ["popular"] portrayals of domination.
