To my knowledge, you can only reset to an older savefile. No way of getting out
To do that, you first need to complete the Slime slaying quest inside the Inn. The woman sitting next to the table will give you a quest to slay 3 slimes on the mountain. After you're done killing said slimes, you'll see a goblin being attacked by a dragon hatchling or w/e you'd like to call it. Long story short, you get that as a pet, and she has a special skill, which I believe is triggered with the "E" key. It'll show sparkling spots on the mountains, that's where the items the doctor needs are. Hope it helped

yes most of them is not translated even if you change the language to english and i can't play this game because of it
it's in the options but it won't help much because it's a mixed translation with english and default
There's some underground cave you have to explore and get 2 Rare Flowers for the girl at the entrance of that forest. She'll give you a saw to cut the vines.
