As always I gotta ask if the translation progressed any further. Does anyone know anything about that? I'd prefer to play the game when all or most of the content was translated.
Exactly my point.
Like, instead of splurging out zealous updates, friggin slow the hell down, and make sure everything is translated. Then send out shit.

Like, I've followed other devs, that don't speak much English, or any other languages, but they at least made sure to translate everything.

I really don't like how this is being handled, which yes, I've made it known, to the dev, via constructive criticism. These last two updates don't really seem to have much anything, except for native mandarin speakers.

Some Japanese isn't translated proper either.
What are they using to translate, a cheese grater?

Sorry to gripe on about it, I just don't like this apparent favouritism. People (that are supporting them) are paying for something, they can't even play.

Whatever, I guess we'll just have to wait for an actual update worth the "Symphony translation", or whom have you.

just loaded my 0.3.5 saves and it seems broken for the new version
anybody got a save file or idk some way to fix it?

Every update obsoletes previous saves (which is absolutely foolish).

I believe on the previous page, there's a download with two saves. Then you take 0.4 and merge it with 3.8.

As far I know, BLUE BONE is only one guy and (I could be wrong) this is his first game, that's could explain the slow updates and not that huge new content, but i have to agree, i don't know why he keeps releasing updates without the full translation

What i think he's doing is releasing a part of the progress on the story to see if is stable and then translate it on the other version (?), i don't know about it because i'm not downloading every update that's comes out, beyond the fact that my save doesn't work anymore.

I absolutely agree. I've played the game a few updates prior and I fell in love with it's gorgeous art but it didn't take very long for me to reach a part where nothing was translated anymore so I just stopped. I really hope that this game gets a decent translation at some point as it's quite fun and has lots of potential.

Makes sense, but apparently there's more than just themselves. Didn't seem like it was that much an issue, if they decided to make a replica mask of their logo. With lights and everything.

Like, sure, live your life obviously, but don't send out unfinished products. If they wanted to test "stability", they would send out a couple versions over some months, that are actually translated, to receive unbiased feedback.

As far I've seen, it's just a bunch of ass kissing about the cg scenes. Nothing about anything else.

Don't get me wrong, I actually enjoy the game and that's why I'm miffed about it. I like to finish what I started.

Running into a language barrier every time,

Having to restart each update (just to see if it's worth a translation or not, but then previous translations don't work anymore),

This is a personal issue, but they didn't need to change the ui sounds and make shift, slow you down. Why use shift, a run button, to "walk"?

At this point it's just waiting for a true update, or a complete game.

I really don't want to come across as a "gripe about everything". These are just my observations.

I know your feelings man, I'm addicted to this game too (more because of BLUE BONE and his art style), but again I'm not downloading every update so idk how the content/changes are in the game, I wait around 2 or 3 updates then check it out.

They've commented before that the translation is being done by a separate person, and that corona had created a couple obstacles. I've reached out to Blue in the past to ask him a question about adding a higher tier subscription for full res pics or source files, and his english was decent but not perfect.

A whole update was translated here, because general frustration.

I just find it odd, that pro bono people translated it faster than a person, who's [at least presumably] being paid to do it.* Like I mentioned before, live your life and all, I get that.

They should really just take their time and maybe look for a different translator. Hell even their own supporters are willing to help, for free. Their words, not mine.

*I know it was an mtl, but still.

Yeah, I had skipped 3.8. Then checked after a while, since I didn't see any activity for some time, on the dev's end. Which I just took as them really digging deep into their project.

I'm watching another dev, whom does this. First demo for their sequel game might be mid next year. Worth the wait.

Again I'm not trying to sound entitled or whatever.

From what I know this is a solo project so i understand a little about the slowness of certain things, I myself Have been holding back from playing recent updates because of the save problem (Its annoying) and of course for content to pile up. The only if for me to play the game before it reaches the 0.7 update is if the hatchling gains her human form (there's already a sketch for her search in Sankaku channel). I know little about coding and I know its annoying AF aswell as doing the art sprite and everything Its understandable searching for help on the translation aspect of the game, so in this case I make an exception about the lack of English translation for recents ver, last time I used google translate app on my phone to finish the content.
I hope they are purpusely letting content pile up to do a big english translation (What they did in the 0.3 Ver).

If I'm remembering correctly it's 234 but the only thing that happens is guy turns around and then walk through it so I think it's just the developer testing some stuff I recommend adding the fixed to your game to get rid of the useless crap in there and also to get access to the money and level up cheats.
Here are the updated/fixed files.
Extract and replace/merge/update the www folder. (it includes two saves)

v0.4.0.0 breaks saves from older versions. Anyone got an up to this point save?
OK, so it's not just me. I skipped the 3.8 update, tried to play 4.0 with a save from I think 3.5? And it wouldn't start...

So yeah, a save near the end of 3.5's content or sooner would be great.
