I had the same issues and after trying several things to fix it, I wasn't able to get past that part. Believe it is bugged this version

Ok i found out how so you need to download the 4.7 unpacked version import save into that version (with globalrpgsave and configrpgsave) then you can sleep save and do the same things to go back to the 0.5

You need to pull your rode when the fish is facing you otherwise it'll break

im using that one now, but it turns half my skills from ENG to JAP haha, but worst is that im in a quest where i have too talk to a NPC and then the game gives me a error saying it failed too load a image
