That's a boss, you defeat it before going to the castle and sometimes the games bugs and doesn't drop all the items it needs to drop

Curious just how much ecchi content there is in this game. I didn't download the CG sets in order to not spoil anything but I remember bouncing off of this one due to the large amounts of busywork in-between scenes. Does it get better down the line? I enjoyed the Sequel games but the quests here were just a bit too much. How are you finding the balance so far?

Ah, I meant Sequel: Colony so on and so forth. Some of them are here on F95. They're more "RPG with H elements" than just simply just porn games, meaning there's generally more gameplay between H scenes. That's why I was wondering if Tail of Desire is just like them since my first impression of the start of the game was ToD has fewer H scenes compared to the amount of "game" you had to go through.

Netorare is literally the Japanese term for cheating or being unfaithful. There is nothing else to it.
Also just because someone might "enjoy" the feeling of being raped doesnt actually make it consensual.
There is a bigger obsession on the internet with tagging everything NTR than there is actual NTR.

The person being NTR'd doesn't have to be dating or married to the person he was NTR'd from. NTR just translates to the idea of a loved one being stolen through sex. If the person wants to have a romantic/love-like relationship with someone and the story plays it off as a sort of possibility, it counts as NTR if that love interest is then "taken" by someone else sexually. If the relationship is purely friendship and fuckbuddies with no possible outcome of them ending up together as anything close to lovers in the future, then it isn't. NTR has never been strictly about cheating, which is why it's a completely separate genre and tag on Japanese websites. A girl can be raped and it still be considered NTR, depending on how it's written. The game itself has a fair bit of NTR either way.

Upsetdark is right about there being a huge obsessive group of people that can't help but tag every single media they want to self-insert into as NTR where they don't always get the girls, but there's a pretty large amount of people who are obsessive with rebuking the idea that something is NTR based off their own faulty definition of what NTR is.

Most of the game is in english and easy to follow but until a certain point because after that it's on chinese but that's almost the end of the game
