Been a while since I played this, but you get keys by beating the bosses iirc. Bosses respawn after you clear a few other stages a couple times

I replayed the first boss, 3rd time, and got a key.

The problem now is I got past the stage I was stuck on, and the next area and boss is apparently all there is.
I wasn't ready for it to end.

yea its basically a demo. One of this dev's older games just got an official english release on steam though, this one: https://f95zone.to/threads/taima-miko-v1-0-unko-morimori-maru.270942/post-18154131

been playing through it and its pretty good so far. Hopefully we can take that as signs of life from the dev and they're still working on this current game.
