Just finished it, other than the sword grindfest it's still a fun time. Still liked Yuugi better though.

The skill learning system was a downgrade, I think. Makes the game more annoying on repeated playthroughs due of the sheer randomness of it all. There were also some repeated boss designs from the last game, which made this game a lot less novel, but finding out what happened to Octolla and the aliens was pretty funny. Haven't played the Monogatari game though, since I don't think it's translated at the moment.

The dev's new game has a skill tree, which is a whole lot more predictable and easy to work with. Looks better at first but on the other hand grinding materials seemed annoying there, and most of the upgrades were just stat bonuses, which is a pretty bad look for an action game. Still, it's pretty early in development. And even then, the game feel there was heads and shoulders above some other action games I've played in recent memory. It's no Silksong, sure, but it has potential.

If the dev ever goes back to making turn based RPGs, then it'd be nice if he made it so the MC was able to use H-skills against monsters too.

Food affects how much EXP you gain, and without food, you're stuck with -50% EXP gains and about zero chance of learning new skills. Leveling is painfully slow without proper food, and since the general level of monsters increase with each passing day, their levels might just shoot past yours if you're not leveling properly.

In case you're having trouble, consider lowering the difficulty just a bit until you start catching up. But fighting stronger enemies might increase your chances of learning new skills (I think? I'm not too sure if it's the monster level or player level that affects the probability). Generally speaking, you should be able to win fights even if the enemy outlevels you by the hundreds. It will take time, however, and if it's not fun for you, you probably shouldn't force yourself.

Once you get past the UNCOOL trio, you'll be able to learn H-skills by allowing yourself to get hit by H-attacks. Eventually, there should be a skill that gives you an EXP multiplier depending on how many debuffs you're currently tanking. Grinding gets easier after that, as long as you don't rely on your ultimates or cleanses too much, since it resets the skill's multiplier back to zero.
Thanks for reply,, i've been playing games past 30 years so i have some experience, question was in other words "how to maximize skill point gains (the ones you use to buy buffs from books) per lvl" im already lvl 80+ and almost oneshotting everything i come to

Do you mean all sex is in-engine/combat or that there is none. The dev's other games seem to be full of it.
This is full of it too, that one guy is just really desperate for the game to be bad for some reason, I don't really get it but it's all he posts about in the thread

Thanks for clearing it up. Some people just have too much free time and use it to hate on stuff instead of doing something productive instead, like jerking off.

There are still some parts of game censored. Is that supposed to be the case? Is the first game also like this one in terms of censorship b/c its very light in this game.

There's sex only with the monkey and like 2 other monsters
The rest is molestation, fingering, licking, or stuff like that

still in the first half of the game... and i rly enjoy it
is there a "bad ending" or any downside of finishing the game not virgine / with x experience like a pro?
.
just lovin this torn outfits to much -,-^
No downside or bad ending, and in fact getting hit with H criticals gives you permanent buffs, so go nuts.

Wish more H games would do it in such a great way, it is sad when its not used at all, its nice if the layers -vanish- but ripped various stages VARIOUS outfits, is really nice. Cumflation and Pregnancy would have been nice.

It should, most notably the music when you enter a battle. Is it just music, or all Sound effects? Do you hear the *WHACK* sound when you attack?
All music, the sound effects are fine, i can still hear the whacks and everything, but battle music, dungeon music and even the title screen music is absent for me

From the main game directory, go into Audio -> BGM. Should be 96 .ogg files there, a total of 199 MB. Do you see them?
