Mmmh.

I killed every bosses I could find (shrine boss, boat boss, lighthouse boss, well boss, mining camp boss, school bosses), and I'm... now unsure on what to do? there is no dialogs about where to go/etc.
If there aren't any dark clouds in the map just yet, then you probably need to let a day pass. Killing a boss typically does the trick, though I had this impression in the Japanese version where losing and using the Return Orb thing ends the day too. That latter part is unconfirmed, so take that with a grain of salt.

Once the clouds start appearing, it's just a matter of clearing harder versions of each boss you've encountered so far.

Thanks for reply,, i've been playing games past 30 years so i have some experience, question was in other words "how to maximize skill point gains (the ones you use to buy buffs from books) per lvl" im already lvl 80+ and almost oneshotting everything i come to
I honestly don't know. I don't remember ever finding an item that increases SP gain my old save file, so I just assumed that it didn't exist. Instead, I just kept increasing the difficulty to get more EXP and farmed skill points that way. The aliens sell things in exchange for SP, but the EXP gain at that point becomes so absurd that you can level up more a few dozen times per fight.

As a side note, you can increase the maximum difficulty of the game by clearing a True Boss (Bosses where the dark clouds gather) on HMD difficulty, though I'm not sure if it's possible before beating the final boss. You can do this about 3 times, I think; From HMD to HMD4.

Here's a pic of the old save, which only(?) has about 48 hours on it, in spite of the bloated numbers. old save.jpg
Keep in mind that the game is already over far before this point, and you are under no obligation to spend your time as I did. I remember story events still triggering during this point in the game, though I couldn't really read it at the time without the translations. Maybe these events were tied to difficulty, or maybe they were random, I'm not really sure. I could've accidentally reset the event flags without noticing too, since that becomes an option after beating the game.

I'm getting weapon/armor mats for weapon/armors I never found (brush and rain coats), unsure where those are.

Also, where the hell can I find the flags for the exorcist armour....

Thanks man, with that pic u actually answered some more question i had. Most of games have limits on many parts, looks like this one took the opposite way, it was weird to me that food had so high xp boosts and killing bosses raised too much base lvl in my opinion, but as i said already pic answers that, its intended to go high numbers.. have a nice day

The flags are random drops I think, usually I just wait for Iku to sell them to me.

yep they are there, the problem is i dont know why arent they playing at all in game
Okay I have two possible ideas.

1) In the menu in-game, go to Pouch -> Preferences -> Settings: Volume. Select it and check your BGM Volume setting.

2) In the directory, what's your last BGM file called? It should be ZEV_Sakuya4.ogg. Sometimes file names with underscores in them can get fucked up if you unzip them wrong; if yours has a weird character instead of the underscore, then that's your problem.

OK, I'm being locked at the final boss I think final sequence? Where it does like 10 ultimate in a row, and even while guarding I die after like 5+, and if I do anything but guard I immediately die and then it uses the "instant death" one.

Am I missing something obvious?

Edit: Apparently I can counter some stuff... but it seems the boss has infinite HP? there seems to be something obvious I should be doing, but I don't know what.

Well the volume settings is at 75 and within the directory the last bgm is called ZEV_sakuya4, everuthing seems like it is fine...maybe it is a regional format problem, seeing that i set it at japanese...cant be that right?

Mine is set to Japanese as well and it works fine, so I'm stumped, sorry. I was thinking maybe a problem your system has with .ogg files, but the sound effects are also in .ogg format and you're saying those work.

Maybe check the dev's previous game, Taima Miko Yuugi, to see if you get the same problem? It uses a similar setup.

OK I think I found the issue with the final boss. I need for all of the people to be shown and have their dialogs, but sometimes they just repeat the same ones ten time in a row and don't show the next one, so we die slowly.

Also yeah, at lower difficulties not all of them kill you directly, so you can heal back up if you are clever.

same problem as well, i went to check if i have this problem on my older comp, but the music for taima miko yuugi works there, the difference between the two is the other one has rvdata for some of the files instead of rpgvxace data

The weapon and armor mat drop rate depends on your equipment. If you fight with the roomba, you will have more chances of getting brush. If you fight with the miko dress, you will have more chances of getting sturdy clothes.

I got a lot of nail drops because my Miko is fighting with that bat most of the time (the random chance of countering long ranged attack is very useful after all).

This game canonically takes place after the events of Taima Miko Yuugi (TMY).

Big spoilers for the first game, but

The game ends with Setsuna telling Nayuta that she's going to tell everyone that Nayuta was the true hero and Nayuta stopped the demon king and Setsuna is essentially going to write herself out of the story, even though she was the hero of it.
Sure enough, in Taima Miko Monagatari, we see Tsugumi fangirling over "Nayuta, Exorcist of Justice" and her brave and heroic feats to defeat the demons, proving that Setsuna did exactly as she said she would.
You got the main points right about Yuugi, but missed the details.
