im still stumped on why i cant hear any music in this game and its prequel, anyone else has this problem in particular?

It's very clearly not MTL. It's actually a very good translation. Not 100% perfect, but high quality. (Also your media literacy could use a lot of work.)

It's not pirate talk, it's classic old-timey knight (samurai) talk. Because she's from the past. It's the same in the original Japanese btw, which obviously you have zero idea about, so maybe leave the critiques of the translation to those who do, lol.
Some lines in the original, for those who read Japanese:
そ、そうか？わしがいれば寂しくないのか、それはよかったぞ。
そうじゃ協力するんじゃ。さっそくわしは腹が減ったぞ。ごはんをくれぬか？
She talks in an archaic way, like people in old samurai movies.

Okay I'm enjoying the game and could tolerate the constant yapping outside of combat, but the extreme handholding during boss fights is rather annoying. Let us discover the mechanics and strategies for ourselves game and not just say it to our face all the time thank you
Do these items stack?
It says they don't stack but I assume that means they dont stack with same items so there is no point to equip 2-3 of the same. But do they stack with each other (1 of each type equipped together) since these are two separate items and I assume one is for money and the other for items...
I haven't found a concrete way to test this because of the varied treasure rank and at low treasure ranks the loot amounts are small to notice any difference.

At first, I was scared off by the graphics in the game, it seemed like it was made in the old days, but when I downloaded and started playing, I just couldn't tear myself away! It took 62 hours to complete the entire grind in the game, which is a lot and very good. I would love to play something similar again!
finally finished the main story. took forever since i finished all the fillers first. i really like the story but i liked yuugi story better. a shame that the next game isn't continuing miko's story. going to finish ufo later.
Yes, of course you can equip the two, as they have different effects, but I can't prove it really works for the reasons you told.
I think this is the first porn game in which I didn't clear with the highest difficulty. HMD was way too harsh when going against the 1st boss. Extra Spicy hit the sweet spot for me, although I had to use the skill reset potions a few times to redistribute the non combat skills into necessary stats. (black mist gaki general, black mist bushy tentacles, black mist headless, final boss and octolla.
I still need to unlock a few skills, weapons and armors.
Chainsaw with cross counter is how I won against most multi hitting bosses (cross counter makes the counter using an atk and crit chance boosted normal attack, so chainsaw hits very hard).
I am going to play a bit more until I unlock all the extra scenes that I missed because I didn't repeat the dungeons.
I still need to unlock a few skills, weapons and armors.

At the north of the island, northwest from the sunken ship. It's in the place that says beware of the jellyfish.
There are only 2 exploration skill books, the jump (which you probably got already) and water walking.
The rest are all stat bonuses or quality.
