Most games will change from "0.x" to "1.x" with completion (later bugfixes and/or additions notwithstanding). However, not all do, there are quite a few examples of higher version numbers without being completed. And there are 0.x games which are completed. In the end, the version number isn't standardized and just isn't a reliable indicator of progress.
For some reason when interacting with people there is 2 menus that appear on top of each other

Try this Research points cheat: res_points = xxxxx. I am not sure it works or not but just try maybe you are lucky.

Great game. Dev get an Itch I would buy it. I don't support patreon blind-faith subsciption plus censorship model. Here use this it may not be as good as the guy who does the pro patch but makes the game mostly work till he updates it. Glad to see this focused on Katie and Celia they are the best. Animations and fleshing out with more renders would go miles imo as well. Update on computer at home after patch to fix names.

how long until this patch gets an update?ipatch updated to v0.37 (extract and replace files/folders)
edit: attached a backup of the original *.rpy files (you don't need it, unless you want to restore/revert the normal dialogs)

usually he/she will do it on the weekend after an update, but sometimes reallife hits hard and he/she could take longer up to a month or more
well it is not the modder's fault that the dev does not just make it easy to do a patch but i wish that one patch could just be used for every version of the game like so many others
many thanks for the Universial I-Patch, I posted it her gain, confirmed that it is functioning
Installation:
1. extract the 7z file via 7z extractor (or any other extractor that can extarct 7z files)
2. Copy the names.rpy into the game folder (where the executable is)
3. when prompted to choose if the sstem should overwrite the existing file click yes
4. start game
4.1 if you are new player or start from the beginnng just press start
4.2 if you are loading a save => go to your home => MIsc choises =>browse internet => update names => now the names are patched
This patch is just basic so you can enjo the wincest. The normal modder of this patch makes sure that every little detail is right. but if you can not wait this will do

Made an update to v0.39 for the time being.
Same as last time, haven't really tested but there should be no issues, compared with current game scripts it mostly replaces “Celia” with “Mom” where it makes sense (though it seems I have more files in my version).
…Why does OP still link to v0.37 patch, anyway?
Technically he did, it's just that patching it as intended by the dev leaves protagonist calling his mother by name all over the script, which is quite unnatural in any culture I'm familiar with (…though there seems to be an alternative opinion on this part, based entirely on speaker's hometown customs apparently).
