I'm using the version I got from Patreon and didn't have any issues.

error what i did was go back to my house and i got a message that "game was updated to 0.10" and now the PPF is working fine.

Nope I still have the little black book in the left corner. (not sure it that changed) but every time I attempt to open it that screen pops up. So I am literally stuck right where I am... forever.

Opening the link doesn't download it, though, you actually have to click the download button, but it does tell you how large the file is, for future reference.

but since it's just an issue of the variable not being initiated. anyone getting this issue can use the console and set it to something to bypass the issue.

after looking at the code, my best guess is that it's supposed to start in the False position.

TLDR: for people who just want to keep playing who get the s_09 error
(shift+O) for console
input next line:
s_09 = False
continue playing

it fixed it so i can corrupt Vera but still can't open the Journal!
Edit: just had to type it twice for some reason and it fixed it!

this is the correct way to fix it friend just told me how to do it
To force an auto update, open console (Shift O NOTE: That's an o of over, not a zero, capslock need to be off) then type exactly as it follows:
game_version = "0.8"
I make emphasis in EXACTLY like that, with "", with everything, just exactly like that, then go to sleep in game an d it should update the variables.
