Nah we have to be at this point several months late. Idk wtf this dev is doing. There is no release date for the update no info like there's not even a post that stating they have irl stuff they are going thru if they are.

yeah ik they're "active" on SS if you scroll up a little you would see I made a post on that day referencing the SS post.

Yeah they didn't die or atleast something or someone is still posting. However so far no one here has screenshoted or wrote what those posts contain. So I am not very hopeful that ANYTHING will come of those posts.

So without knowledge on the previous progress posts, I'm gonna guess:
-The writing will be done this month.
-The renders probably done some time Aug or sept.
-Idrk what the difference is between the writing and the dialogue to me it would be the same thing unless, it's the dialogue options? if so I would assume it would be done next month, if not then idk.
-The Coding probably done some time Oct-Nov.
So the release date for the SS provider tier will probably get it mid to late Nov. So going off of the previous release, the public release will probably be next year early Jan. but if the SS provider tier release is in Oct like the previous release then it'll be early Dec.

So my guess for the public release for the update would be early Dec or Jan. I think this is one of those one update per year type of game.

In my opinion: Writing - writing a script, where the scenes and events on them are described. Renders - creating images based on the script for each scene. Dialogue - writing specific lines of characters (and their thoughts) and narrator on the previously written script. Coding - wrapping all this Renpy script (this is where menus and branching based on variables are created).
Obviously, writing a script is the root process for all subsequent processes - without it it is literally impossible to do anything further. That's why the overall progress depends on Writing - until it reaches 100% it's pointless to talk about release dates, in case the author has a block.

Release could be early, but I have to say very good estimate.
