The Redhead+MOD has been updated to 3.19.3

So what's new for the mod with 3.19.3...
* I focused on redoing Hiro's animations to bring them up to date with the new costumes.
* I modded the Kyrila vs Brigand animation which replaced a 2D version.
* I modded the brand new 2D Wasp artwork.
* I modded the Minatauress and Hiro animated scenes.
* I modded the newish Pronebone 2D Hiro artwork.

Wasn't complaining, just clarifying what's in there in case people were getting their hopes up from the changelog notes. Like I said, I think we've reached the end of meaningful content updates for the game. Am I wrong? At this point you're just fleshing out the parts that were a bit abrupt, as you said. Looking forward to your next project, but I don't expect major new updates (characters, subplots, etc) to this one. No insult intended as to your efforts to date - I paid to support it during the earlier, content-intense phase and don't regret it.

Getting back into TOA after a somewhat long break and is it just me, or do the more recent scenes (both artwork and text) not acknowledge/check if the player is wearing a chastity cage anymore? Loved how encounters with the Dark Knight in the bar or Trudy at camp would actually have unique lines and embarrass the player about having a chastity cage.

But for example, last night I went through the beauty pageant line with Cait and while the caged artwork appeared, she didn't mention anything about me being caged. And in the second encounter with the Dark Knight in the Mossy Expanse, the uncaged animation plays regardless of the player's equipment, and the text even says that the Dark Knight starts giving me a handjob or jerking me off (something along those lines) even though I'm wearing a pink, girly cage. And my memory's a bit fuzzy, but I don't think the Tentacle Witch even makes any unique references/lines to the player having a cage - she feminizes and calls them a girl no matter what.

Absolutely not a dig at Majallis at all, all the new stuff since last playing is nothing short of high quality, especially for a porn game. And for all I know, I might've just found outlier scenes since I haven't fully seen or read all the new scenes and artwork. Just feels like chastity cage-related stuff is kinda being left in the dust

A lot of the chastity cage stuff was added after the fact - with new encounters I try to keep in mind any time they use Hiro's dick to include chastity/impotent alternates, or lock it behind having a free dick. Sometimes as I'm moving scenes around that creates those phantom cage scenes. The new animations similarly have cage variants from the get-go, and we're adding them to old animations.

I have a large amount of content ready for the next weekly, but I didn't have time to add it to the last one. Eh. I am a developer, I have a fairly good idea of how commits work. And no offense meant to Majalis, it's a good game and I didn't mean to imply otherwise. Just don't try to gaslight me as to all these new large content updates on a project where it's easy to quantify exactly how much of that is going on and when.

The public github repo that hasn't been updated since 2018 has less activity in 2022 than in 2018, yeah, real surprise there. Are you looking at the filesize of the build? Sometime last year we reduced the filesize by several hundred MB by changing the way we packaged the animation textures. Not that it's a reasonable measure of progress, at all, but the filesize is actually growing faster now than before because we have our music guy doing regular work, bouncing tracks as .oggs, we have our VFX guy adding large animations, and Alis has been doing more animations than before.

A good lesson to learn in life early on is to know when to fold and when to keep trying, apparently that lesson has not been learned by that many people.

Butt plugs influence whether you see certain scenes, for example to get "bad end" with Gadgeteer you need to have 3 different toys on you (including a buttplug), or having a different scene with werewolf if you wear a tail plug.

Another thing that I noticed is that the buttplugs pretty much works aesthetically and not actually offering anything beyond the fact that if you keep equiping and unequiping the anal beds your lust increases 1 by 1 each fime you do a cicle. Which is a suuuuuper slow but effective way to triger lust without entering combat lol

But outside of that I havent noticed anything different than they actually do

Buttplugs protect you backdoor in combat, too. If you are overpowered in a grapple or kneeling, the enemy needs to spend 1 turn removing the buttplug, buying you time to slip away.
Plugs - ironically - help you keep a chaste butt and I always have one in my top-only Hiro, for the...extra defense.
