I'm inclined to agreeWho needs dignity when there are chubby futas with big dongers running around looking for a booty to stuff?
We've touched on this before. Basically: the writing will always outpace the art, so there's no way we can ever illustrate absolutely everything without using some more generic art... which we do plan to expand. The only way for us to have a higher ratio of stuff that has art is... if I just stop adding new scenes for a long while. Not only is that mostly a waste of my time, as writing when I have stuff I want to write is the most efficient way to progress, but obviously, as we've seen in this thread, that's not a realistic option.I also share this criticism though. Not the part about the patreon tiers, but the existing content. I know that they do polls asking about which scenes to do next and such, but with the new area being added and new enemies/characters in the works, it leaves things feeling super unfinished as you play through the game. Some of these enemies and characters have been in the game for a very long time and still have only a scene or two compared to others. The Drow, for instance... who has been in the game for quite a while I believe, yet her only actual scene involves the cat...
I kind of wish they would focus more on back-filling content before moving on to new characters and new places and new scenarios.
My sympathies if you've had bad experiences with commission writers. With what I've seen delivered for 1 ¢/word or less, someone charging five times that should at least be able to follow some basic style instructions."Hello, I would like to pay you $50 for '1 writing'. Consisting of 1,000 words. Also cannot be fewer than 4,000 characters, because I don't want it to sound like it was written by someone with the vocabulary of magpie, but it has to be less than 10,000 characters because it can't read like an infant digested a thesaurus then regurgitated it onto your screen. But it has to be done in this particular style, combing erotic, with hardcore, with anticipation...

That's fair. It just looks odd when you see the updates and it's like "here's a whole bunch of new text-scenes for this ghost character that already has a bunch of pics" when there are still characters that don't really have any real art or even scenes to speak of... like the Drow and that succubus (what was her name? Merrybell?). There are also characters like the Dryad that only really have one "scene" to speak of, but no accompanying art.tl;dr there'll be more art for existing characters, and generic art and animations will have to fill in the gaps for a lot of scenes. We never planned to illustrate absolutely all of the writing in the game individually.
Ghost was selected via the expansion survey, Merrybelle is mostly a cameo from a previous writing work of mine, and we'll probably do sex art of the Drow Beastmistress at some point. Looking through the CG list for each character, she's basically the only one that doesn't have unique art fully featuring her. That's fair. I 100% understand that writing happens faster that art, especially when a lot of art is currently eaten up by animations.

Same goes for art Just hire one or two additional artists with the patreon money and have this baby rollingMy sympathies if you've had bad experiences with commission writers. A lot of patrons probably want Alis's art specifically, though. Similarly, I doubt that they'll switch to "sketchier" or placeholder art to speed up development, even if a lot of people would appreciate it.Same goes for art Just hire one or two additional artists with the patreon money and have this baby rolling
They can imitate Alis's style. That's why they're getting paid. And that being said, Maj's descriptions and writing is what founds the Alis's art. so they should not have THAT big a problem for it.A lot of patrons probably want Alis's art specifically, though.
