Is the story mode more fleshed-out / worth playing now? Does it have any exclusive scenes that you can't get in the other mode? I've taken a pretty long break from this game, and I've been lured back in by more content featuring my beloved Mouth Fiend

Yeah, it's really shaped up. The scenes are completely different and it has some of the best in the game.

It uses the same art, but all of the scenarios and scenes themselves are different.

I have a problem: I went to the Manor in the second town before taking the brothel's quest about the werewolf.
Now I can't progress this quest, I met 2 times the werewolf but it was just a normal encounter.

You need to visit the brothel so you get to the part where Cindy (brothel manager) tells you to... "procure" some material from werewolfs, either have Trudy "handle" a fight with werewolf or get bootyblasted by one yourself.
