Download the system appropriate version from OP (windows, linux or mac), unzip that one, then download the weekly (java version form OP), replace the old .jar with the one you just downloaded, launch the game with .exe

I've not had java installed for aeons and yet i'm able to run the game just fine.

Windows version of TOA along with the other platform "builds" ship with a standalone JRE. The bundling comes with the libGDX — the dinosaur old framework the game runs on.

This is the only reason it all works — packr.

From your confusion stems the whole "chatGPT a dumb haha".

The specific task given to ChatGPT was to explain how to run the jar. Not to run the .jar replacement ritual you made up for yourself and follow. Which in fact is piss poor, given how you suffer with every minor version release. So it accomplished the task correctly.

You're certainly not a tech savvy person.
Anyone having Java on their host system needs nothing but a fresh .jar to run the game. The rest is candy wrapper.

But if you like your candy with the wrapper — I won't stop you. Just don't tell people it's the right thing.

The only pain in the ass for me was when they moved to a new version of LWJGL, so now I have to put
-XstartOnFirstThread flag to run the thing.

Downloading the whole thing over and over to see new text and 2-3 arts is barbaric. And before they call it complete, this monstrosity will surpass 5GB. Trust me.

I do understand that you could just install java and run the .jar that way, i just do not want to have it for just one application so that's why i use the "replacement ritual i've made up for myself".
And tbf, i've no degree in computers, but i've used them for 90% of my life, sure it doesn't give me the complete knowledge of every inner workings going on, but i do know my stuff well enough to not be a boomer who uses facebook comment section as google search bar.

I second this. Having the empty shell of the executable be what you download for that makes downloading all of it a lot faster.

IIRC, that's how Majalis uploads them. Same with their Itch.Io uploads too. The issue isn't on Bob's side, it'd require editing the file after downloading it before uploading it for them. You'd want to pass this along to Majalis, if you're willing to do so. It's a coin toss just posting about it here, I've no clue if Majalis reads this thread for anything besides troublefixing they have to hotfix, so try the Itch.Io forums or DMing Majalis (ToA)

I was able to use this skill on an erect Dullahan, but I don't believe it's consistent. There must be some specific factor for the game to offer you the stance, likely it's only enabled for a select number of Characters right now.

It's very random, I think it's bugged. I got it once against the Ettin, but I've tried it several times and it didn't work. I read in the description before using it that it required you to be faster than your opponent (although I play with a translation, so it's not entirely reliable), so I also tried it with a cheated MC, but it didn't work. In short, I think it's simply a problem that Majalis needs to fix.

The option to play as a futa (Specifically the kind of 'Futa Sans Pussy' we see in ToA) will be possible once the Pronoun Toggle passes the priority survey voting. Boob customization is already in-game and Majalis have confirmed different pronouns will result in different reactions from characters (will not simply be changing he to she or they) Dick Size Growth is not currently a mechanic, only shrinking, so I doubt bigger than average will be added. Average is as big as you have, but you'll make it work when needed

If you have questions for Majalis to answer, I recommend asking on the Itch.io ToA official forum. Majalis do not post on this thread anymore, the most we can tell you is already established details or speculation.

I'd like to play with a male model. I prefer that to a femboy. I feel like Majalis could transfer the male inkeep template to play with the character, as a test (and be able to edit his skin color and hairstyles, like Hiro).

The stance is sadly poorly implemented right now, since it's something the AI doesn't want to entertain and it's hard to get yourself or them facing upwards WHILE one of you is in Offensive stance. Enemies don't like staying in Offensive Stance when you Hit the Deck and they don't like staying face up when you are. Having a Kick Over option in Offensive Stance would be good, for Players trying to use Footjob, but IIRC the AI isn't allowed to use it so that might be a programming issue. The AI right now doesn't like using Footjob if it's erect, meaning it'll instead use wrestle in Offensive Stance. (Which is great if you want to do Reversal Penetrations, but even then that's a gimmick for penetrating non-penetrables that is temperamental too. Having the AI not use Plop Down twice in a short period of turns would be a potential fix to that)

But to be clear, Footjob still has the issue that for no reason it'll put the recipient into Standing after climax and the giver into Supine. It's meant to be the other way around.

I wish someone told Majalis about this, because RN Footjob is a novelty that occurs when the stars align. Meanwhile I believe the Tease Nipples issue is still present, so me talking about it here won't change things ._.

I really wish being on the Discord wasn't the most sure-fire way to get an issue/typo/mistake fixed, because the Itch.io forums are the only closest official platform that fits that bill. And I can't use it.
