Again, a different person does the art and the script. There's no amount of "focusing" that's going to change that. This is basically just an argument for me to do less script-writing, when it comes down to it.

I like writing but just look how many this game have position(in combat) and sex scenes/events I understand that you are write and the next person are art-style its clear for me and I dont complain write usseles or art becuse for me both of them for me are nice job.

Just there is to much scenes dont have art especial those scene already have been writen but there is no art I dont care If it animation or not but as I said before there is so much content need visual arts Im sure as long as you have support from us especial money support this game will have 100% content just in my opinion we need more arts and yes dont stop write text I already look on Majalis twiter and I saw 3-4 new arts coming and is that what I mean just do ur game what you want ppl always will cry so dont care about it I just suggestion and yes my last comment propably sounds like "do arts becuse I want" ofc I want arts but Its not order Its just suggestion from me

The reality is that you can obviously write scenes quicker than it takes to draw them, and much faster than it takes to animate them, like, this is a good part of the reason that books still exist. With a mixture of unique art and generic art, we're hoping every scene will have art, but the amount of it that is generic vs. unique will have to depend on how many unique scenes I write.

The person who works on animations is not the person who works on the text (me). We've also added fewer animations as late, as Alis has been trying to increase the quantity of new art while also taking time to work on UI stuff whenever she can. We have a backlog of the idle animations that have won the surveys (Cultist, Wasp, Naga, Ettin), and once those are completed, we'll basically have animated all the characters, so we're going to add sex animations to the surveys instead.

Of course, neither the quality of new text nor the amount has changed. I've actually liked some of my more recent work more than I did the work that was done in the middle of last year (the new Lupa and Giantess stuff is great, the Brothel Madame endings and other new scenes, and the Dark Knight story mode stuff as well). There are fewer new features, since the game is more feature complete now, and the remaining features are the most complex and difficult, so they take more time. And there are fewer new characters (read: none, it's been frozen since Dark Knight last year), because people complained about the lack of content for existing characters - of course, now when we focus on content for existing characters, people complain. If I add a large amount of new text all at once, like I did for the Mouth Fiend or Dark Knight because I enjoyed writing those encounters, people complain that the update is all text and no new "content" (ie, art). The one constant is that people complain.

I'm glad to hear about fewer animations - they look good, but in my opinion few pictures with text are better than a single animation with text, dunno which is faster. One of the reasons why i love this game is the amount of content added (especially compared to other games), i'm glad to hear that i was afraid for nothing.

For me new content is new scenes in whatever form and i enjoyed almost all of your writing so far, maybe i'm just full after werewolf blowjobs for a month or two?

Don't worry about people complaining, they do that because they care (me included), just don't ignore them completly.

I wouldn't call those better updates when they're so sporadic, we get an update every single saturday and there's also posts to disclaim the whole they slowed down immensely in updates

I wouldn't call monthly updates sporadic, actually their models are pretty similar with smaller updates in between the monthly ones.

First off the votes thing is BS. You can thank me for pushing gobo content as far as it went. If you pay enough you can get what ever scene you want in. The voting system is garbage

Second. I think maj and alis need to work on content the way they see the game(they should have a vision of what the game will be like). right now the game is a string of encounters with little tieing them together. It would be nice for more cohesion. Instead of us voting for monster of the week.

Thirdly i would rather alis work on art from older content first. The quetz still has no art and for along time kyrlia didnt as well, Early encounters with trudy have no art(especially my fave seen the warg).The voters can swing it one way or another depending who is populer.

I can guarantee that someone really likes the giantess as a character and is hard voting for them. Just like me with goblin content.

Also the big issue is kink, ima be fair im not a big fan of vore at all. And majalis has drawn scat in the past. There is a fine line between reguler kinks that can be enjoyed by a wider audience and one with an aqquired taste; vore should have never been put up for voting.

It's... a voting system. I don't know what else you would call it. That not all the votes have equal power has nothing to do with whether or not we do commissions? Almost a thousand people vote in the survey, the 3 people who have access to the 16 vote tier are barely a drop in the bucket, and nobody is in that tier for the 16 votes. Even if they all got together to make a vote cartel, that'd be 48 votes, far shy of the 300+ votes a winning result has - and the reality is that not all of them even use the surveys. The vast majority of our patrons are in the 1 and 2 vote tiers... so the only art ideas that are winning are getting a plurality of the votes, especially since it's ranked choice voting.

Honestly this might be the funniest criticism I've ever gotten? It's so wrong-headed on every level. We put the options on the surveys! Even if Captain Moneybags signed up with five hundred patreon accounts, he'd still be selecting from a list of ideas that we added. The conspiracy theories about the Mouth Fiend and Giantess are so dumb that I've never directly addressed them before, but: I like oral fixation and macrophilia! That's why they're in the game! I put them on the surveys! It was me, I did it! Nobody with deep pockets put them there! That's not how it works!

Like, this is what the expansion survey question looks like right now. Because when something wins, we remove it from the survey, so we have a fairly even distribution of baseline content for all the characters. The Giantess won because... there aren't that many characters left on there who haven't gotten an expansion. We're actually going to be likely replacing this question with a "what new scenario would you like to see" that'll be more specific about what you'll get if you vote on it, like "Goblin marriage ending" or "golem semen russian roulette" or "Ettin sleepover party" or whatever, but as is, this is what encounter expansion voting looks like. Nobody's gaming this.
