Gutted open the .jar and saw that the "animation" folder alone is almost 1.7 gigs so that's already more than half, then there's the "music" folder clocking at 850 mb, next is "characters" at 510 mb, "sounds" almost 200 mb, so combine all of that and you already get ~3gigs.

Honestly not at all surprising, art assets are always what takes the lions share of filesizes in games and that's just how it works, text (code) takes up just a measly little part because it's just characters.

You're right to be sceptical, Maj is secretly putting in scripting that uses your CPU to bombard your GPU with dummy data that's facts about Lilies and Dark Souls Lore, all so they can justify updates with optimization fixes.

Hmm... not entirely convinced but it is what it is, i guess.

I mean you can check for it yourself, just open up the .jar with winrar/7zip/whatever and you can see how much space they take.
:EDIT: Man, it sure felt weird to say for someone to open up the .jar, that's usually something we do not want here.

I mean, some features that win the survey never get added at all. Enemy Combat (Goblin vs. Harpy) was never added and they never explained what it entailed beyond 'mon battles'. Gotta be a Patron I suppose to ask and find out what they have planned exactly, if anything solid is currently to be considered or it'll just be an added thing into a current piece of upcoming content like More Breastfeeding was just added content to the Kitsune Marriage.

The More [BLANK] options in the survey generally are the most vague in what will actually be done, it's why I dislike them and what they've done to to Surveys at large. I wish Maj actually gave a hint or something when the option wins, so it's not a matter of checking each update to figure out what has and hasn't been followed up on & when. Yet again, if I haven't said it before, those options won for 15 months in a row over the other features that have now been pulled and are only POSSIBLY going to be adde.d (even though Content Filters/Toggles/Warnings was PROMISED in the Patron About Section)
