For me, I did the maledom paths and the creampie ending has some light femdom elements to it. I think maybe some of the same texts are reused for all paths perhaps? I won't be doing any femdom stuff, but from what I've been reading, femdom players notice switching back and fourth between dom and sub, suggesting that there are indeed some common text lines that makes the sudden change in pace a bit jarring. Furthurmore, the way either of these characters act during conversations outside of sex scenes probably wouldn't reflect a power imbalance in either direction.
I am pretty certain that the relationship with Meredith is that of mutual respect and love. They have a long history together and are quite literally in love with each other. The scene fetish itself is somewhere in between a roleplay and consentual dom/sub relationship where both parties enjoy the role. Meredith mentions that maybe this time she could be the mistress and the MC a captured slave in one of the lines before the sex scene starts. Perhaps both MC and Meredith are switches who could play either role.
Here are some of my thoughts on this set up. Meredith is our first and closest companion who will likely have the most screen time, so having a literal hard maledom/femdom relationship that goes furthur than the bedroom could make things tricky. It would result in writing literally every conversation and interactions that include her 3 times! And well, expecting our MC to be a sissy boy that can't do jack shit without the mistress's approval would spell doom for any adventure he leads XD. A ruthless maledom guy could make a fine leader if the story is written that way, but we can already see how much the script would deviate from any player agency in choosing character traits or relationships.
I really have to see more of the gameplay to really form a good understanding of this game. I'm having a hard time imagining how the proposed character trait system (ruthless warlord, virtuous, devious, etc.) from the discussion thread would be implemented. Presumably, the base personality of our MC couldn't change for each of those variables. I guess the change would be kinda limited to the immediate aftermath of a particular choice. There is a big pitfall for this type of system in that the MC could appear bipolar.
If we look at the games that served as inspiration (Baldur's Gate, et al), they intentionally make the MC essentially mute. 99% of the text is spoken by NPCs. Most of the MC's spoken lines directly follow whatever we pick as the reply. This is to facilitate roleplaying and prevent jarring shifts in the way the MC presents himself. That could be quite limiting in a text based porn game though.
Anyways, I would love it if we could build up our MC to be of a certain type of personality and make it seamlessly integrate into all parts of the game. That seems rather tough for a small team, although not impossible.
Maybe I went off on a long ass monologue for no reason. We really haven't even seen the actual game yet. Just a preview of one scene hehe.
