You make a lot of good points. And we definitely want people to like our game and support us, to the point where we can finally go full time with ToLLA. But as you mentioned in your post, our regular jobs will continue to siphon our energy until we manage to achieve enough funding to make the transition. And therein lies the entire crux of the argument - we're more or less financially stable for the time being (owing entirely to our 9-5s), and don't need to withhold content just to build up a buffer and play the tit-for-tat release game that so many devs resort to. ToLLA is its own beast, and its development will continue regardless of how much backing we receive. We think of our game as a train gradually picking up speed, and anyone who wants to hop on (or off) can do so at any time they wish, no strings attached. The only thing that changes is how fast the train picks up steam.

We didn't plan it from the get-go, but the intro gained a dedicated femdom sub-section a while back during its development. It was lots of fun to write (and definitely a change of pace from the default maledom path!), as well as being technically challenging in how much we managed to cram in there... both text and art-wise.

Femdom fans will have a lot of fun with it! :)

As a prospective player, I urge you to release this as quickly as possible—but as a fellow dev, I'd recommend you further delay your initial release for as long as possible. Once your first release is out, that's it—you're in the release game and the clock is ticking. If your next update isn't ready within three months, your project will be marked abandoned here and interest will begin to flag, patrons will grow impatient.
That's not how it works. A game won't be automatically be marked abandoned just because the latest update was 3 months ago. As long as the dev team communicates to show that development is still going on, by posting on Patreon or here for instance, that's enough. Many games sometimes or often have longer than 3 months between updates.

You've set yourself a high standard for quality of content, you're working with a single artist where assets will bottleneck, and your team has IRL jobs they'll need to prioritize over this project until it sees significant success, so it's very easy to expect major content delays that would stall an update and irritate fans or potential patrons. If you hold off on first release until you've completed your second (or even third) release, you always keep your team safely ahead of what you actually put out as a buffer to mitigate the all-too-real possibility of missing deadlines, promises, or scheduled updates.
I would advice against this. Getting in early means more time to build a fan base. More importantly: Unless you keep lying to your patrons and fans by faking progress reports, they won't like hearing that you have the next one or two updates ready already, but are holding it off for several months. It just sounds like a bad model to use in this case. Being transparent and honest, communicating with your fans, and releasing whenever new updates are ready is the way to go. If you don't want to miss deadlines, then don't set deadlines.

That dude was one of the funniest characters on the show! :LOL: But Meredith isn't all that big, it's more an angle played for effect because that particular pic shows up in the femdom sub-section of the intro. But we do have plans for true giantesses and the like, it's just that they're mostly in the northern areas which become explorable a bit later in the game.

Thanks, glad you like it! She's our in-house artist for the entire project. Most of her online stuff is for her regular job and freelance work, and is under her real name... I can't share it here, sorry.

There's another orcess companion you can recruit (a grey orc female), and she's got lady parts down there. As for a half-orc son, the main orcish fortress in the game has 'service' pens where you can casually whore out the Captain to the elite orc females there in exchange for favors, info, money, and equipment; I might actually write an impregnation quest centered around that concept, now that you mention it - thanks for the idea!

Yeah, we're going with content releases as soon as they're ready. It's been a bit slow since there's so much art to cover and currently only a single artist on the team (as well as a bit of feature creep), but we hope things will pick up once we finish the initial release and expand the core group. We do have weekly update posts on our Patreon, so everyone knows exactly what we're working on at any given time.

The premise looks very good and it has femdom too! Got me very excited. The only thing that that can make this better is if femdom isn't just limited to gentle femdom.

Yup, it's optional. All sex content is. One of our main design principles back when we were outlining the game was to never force any fetishes on the player. The game lets you know what's about to happen, and you can choose which path to go down, or opt out altogether. We're also not fans of metagame-y entrapment (purposefully leading a player down false paths just to spring something unrelated on them). The worst thing that can happen to your protagonist, from a purely sexual perspective, is getting femdom'd and (ab)used by evil female NPCs if you want to get past them without spending in-game resources (gold, time, party health & mana in combat). So it's basically a case of trading your dignity to preserve your assets. But that's always a decision you as the player will get to make - nothing's ever forced on you.

Well, now that depends on where you draw the line between gentle and hard femdom. I'm sure 10 different people would have 10 different definitions for it (the three of us working on the game included). The introduction segment features stuff like smothering, bodypart worship, foot-play, watersports, verbal teasing, and the like. And you get to choose which path you want to go down. The really hardcore content will make an appearance in specific locations later on (ex: monster sex dungeons, drow city, etc.), or in unique side-quests... the latter being up to our patrons and their requests/ideas.

If the gameplay manages to be at least "above average", you've got yourself a winner for the art and interface alone. Protip: If you have cash to spare, DO NOT spend it on voice acting, but hire a good composer for atmospheric backdrops instead.

Really, if the RPG-part is merely "servicable", then all you need to do is make sure there's no showstoppers/joykillers. The only other game i can think of, that had similiary atmospheric 2D art was Nights In Cairo, and that one had lesbian porn only and a boring detective-story, which obviously isn't everyone's cup of tea.
